I guess I still have so many unanswered questions and unclear as to where to turn other than these forums, as none of this seems to make sense, and quite frequently my GI doc looks at me like I have three heads. Was curios to know if anyone experiences episodes through the day of a overwhelming malaise and sick feeling? Not always related to abdominal pain but sometimes like diffuse aching in back, lightheaded sorta fuzziness, like you could pass out, then just generally unwell like you have to lay down and just feel like you are going to die. It is fo hard to even categorize it, other than feeling extremely unwell and having difficulty focusing on anything, just feel like crying I feel so lousy. It often seems to come on with intense back cramps and aching, so weird I know. I am sorry for not being more specific, just scared I guess.

I know exactly what you're talking about. That feeling like I could just "blink out" at any moment was my biggest symptom prior to going gluten free. Very scary, especially since no doctor could tell me why. Turns out, for me it wasn't just gluten it was also dairy and soy. But once I cleared them from my system I was clearer thinking and feeling than I had been in two decades.

yep. I feel this too, when glutened (I think). Except my muscle aches are in my biceps and calves primarily rather than my back.

I also have random depression and crying spells with soy, and of course when you're in pain and so on you just want to cry and cry...

I was taking medicine for sibo but it was not agreeing with my stomach at all.Was on gabapentin but it amps me up.I was taking in morning because it wasn't allowing me to sleep. This has always been an issue with medicine and me.Even going to dentist, the good shot that numbs you once, I can't take because it makes my heart beat fast and I  get the shakes.I have to take the crappy stuff and get injected always more than 4 times always. Its infuriating

I showed one doctor I went to once because completely clueless of celiac disease and yes that one was connected to a well known hospital and she said oh thats just a bunch of people that think they are celiac coming together. I said um no they have doctors and knowledge behind what is being written. So bay area is Downplaying this site! SADLY

If you successfully digest gluten with enzyme supplements so it won’t give you side effects, your challenge won’t be worthwhile because the digested fragments of gluten also won’t stimulate antibody production or cause intestinal damage.

You can search this site for prescriptions medications, but will need to know the manufacturer/maker if there is more than one, especially if you use a generic version of the medication: To see the ingredients you will need to click on the correct version of the medication and maker in the results, then scroll down to "Ingredients and Appearance" and click it, and then look at "Inactive Ingredients," as any gluten ingredients would likely appear there, rather than in the Active Ingredients area. https://dailymed.nlm.nih.gov/dailymed/
