I love their stuff! But I've eaten a ton of the muffins we made in the past week and I've been getting sicker and sicker. Am wondering if I have a sensitivity to one of the other ingredients or if others have had problems with Bob's?

I keep glutening myself (or whatever reaction this is) while trying So Hard not to. Getting grumpy.

Sorry to hear the muffins did not agree. My mom made some Bob's gluten-free bread for me at Christmas and I have not noticed a reaction. One question I have is what kind of oil did you use? The recipe my mom made called for vegetable oil but she substituted olive oil since some vege oils contain soy, another possible antigen...

Hmmm...my hubby used canola oil. I did not have an immediate reaction, but ate 2 batches (!) in about 3 days. I am trying to gain weight so I was being a piggy :). It didn't actually feel like typical glutening though (and I got a lot of heart palpitations which I don't think has occurred with gluten), so maybe it is a different allergen. Felt horrid though so I will have to investigate further. Thanks!

Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free products are processed in a dedicated facility. However, this facility also processes certified gluten-free oats. If you have a problem with certified gluten-free oats (some people are cross-reactive), then their products could be a problem for you.

It is quite possible it was something else that caused your problem.

I do have an issue with certified gluten-free oats so that must be it! Thank you!

It can take longer than 6 months for antibodies to drop to the normal range,  My DGP IgA took a few years as I got stricter and stricter about being gluten free  But having symptoms again could also mean you’re getting some gluten in your diet.

Hi, I just had my 6 month check after being diagnosed Celiac 6 months ago.  All of my panel numbers were normal except: Deamidated Gliadin Abs, IgA (It is 31 with high being over 30)  I have also been having symptoms again. Am I not actually being as careful as I think I am or does it take longer than 6 months for this particular test to come back down?  I can't get ahold of my doctor this week as she is out.     Thank you!

That is very strange, because it looks to me like two very different test results, but for the same test! It's definitely time to contact your doctor for clarity on this.

Same day which is strange to me.

Scott, thank you SO MUCH for this!! She has been through so much in the last three years as we've tried to track down answers. This language will definitely help me help her to reframe.
