Not Sure What My Diagnosis Is?

I recently went through blood marker testing (which was negative) and then had an endoscopy in which my biopsies were labled Early Celiac Marsh 1. Neither of my doctors (Primary or GI) has been really open to discussion...

I am trying to determine if I am trully Celiac? I now am going to live a Gluten Free life, but no one has mentioned to me anything about getting my children tested.

Quite confused and would appreciate any help that can be offered.

Marsh 1 means damage to the villi is not advanced, but is present. I would consider that a definitive diagnosis of celiac disease. False negatives are common, but false positives are quite rare.

All first-degree relatives of a diagnosed celiac should be tested. That includes siblings, parents, and children.

Do you have symptoms that resolve gluten-free? If so you're definitely celiac. Yes, your kids should be tested.

      Thank you.. Christina My anxiety is through the roof. I think it was from eggs. I really don't know because my eyes feel sore. Like I'm allergic to them. I was defient in B12. My heart is pounding and it won't stop. Not sure what to do. I don't have much support other than this forum. Colleen

      Thanks rmj when I first rang up it was we can't do it without , but I talked to a lovely lady and she sorted it all out for me, so it pays to be persistent , I would have had to decline if I hadn't been given the water option too , so yes I'm glad too 😌

      Had my MRI today I didn't have to have the manitol with my allergy's , I just had a litre of water , they were great with my concerns , so let's see if anything comes of if will keep posted once I have results 👍

      Coeliac and Thyroid?

      Thank you ,it’s been a long road for me for having both now ,what upsets the most is that if they discovered that I also have cealiac earlier I would not have injested gluten if I was aware. Double whammy.
