I was watching this film and they mentioned the increase of celiac and people with digestive issues because of genetically modified crops. It is worth a watch: Open Original Shared Link

I think america likes to turn to the side about GMO foods...All the other countries are screaming beware though. GMO is seriously bad for everyone. With people who already have issues, we can't afford to risk more damage!!!

It's because other countries (especially EU countries) have standards that are implemented based on scientific research. In the USA the standards are governed by people with special interests, and a large percentage of the USDA voting members are financially linked to Monsanto and other GMO companies. The current Secretary of Agriculture, Tom Vilsack, has never even tried to hide his ties to Monsanto. And many former FDA employees got jobs at Monsanto after they retired from government work.

This could all end, and our health could improve, if we just quit allowing special interest money to rule this country. In the UK there are strict caps on the amount of money a candidate can use to run for public office. WE NEED something like that.

if another country did to our food system what we are doing to it, it might be considered an act of war. I firmly believe we have celiac because of the modified wheats in the late 60s. Maybe some are or are not genetically predisposed but that does not change what happens when the modified wheats are consumed. Im glad to see your comments since the USDA and FDA seem to be a branch of Monsanto now

I've also been wondering the effect of GMO food on diseases such as celiac and other food intolerances. Could it be that people are intolerant to genetically modified wheat, rather than wheat itself? I see many people on this forum also claim intolerances to other common genetically modified foods, like corn and soy. Even most gluten-free food products seem to be made with GM ingredients (baking mixes, flours, etc.)

"Conclusions: The urinary iodine level was significantly lower in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis, and iodine replacement may be important in preventing osteoporosis"  Body iodine status in women with postmenopausal osteoporosis Low iodine can cause thyroid problems, but Iodine deficiency will not show up in thyroid tests.  Iodine is important for healing, its job is to kill off defective and aging cells (Apoptosis). Skin, brain fog, nails, muscle tone all inproved when I started taking 600 mcg (RDA 150 - 1000 mcg) of Liquid Iodine drops. Some with dermatitis herpetiformis, Iodine exacerbates the rash.  I started at 1 drop (50 mcg) and worked up to 12 drops, but I don't have dermatitis herpetiformis.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and I found myself giggling with happiness as I read how your body reached such spring! And I hope that your current journey is also successful!! Definitely starting the food diary! So many amazing advices. And it’s very scary. It really hits all our soft spots as well as our confidence system. Most doctors I went thought I was underage despite being in my late 20s. Right now I look like am I twelve, but is also this body that’s taking so much, so I might as well love it too! Going to make the necessary changes and stay in this path. Thank you again! 🫶

Thank you so much for the information and kind message! Reading this transformed how I’ve been viewing my efforts and progress. Guess there’s still a lot to celebrate and also heal 😌  Yes, I’ve been taking it! Just recently started taking a multivitamin supplement and separated vitamin D! I also took chewable Iron polymaltose for ferritin deficiency 2 months ago but was unable to absorb any of it.  Thank you again! Hearing such gentle words from the community makes my body and heart more patient and excited for the future.
