Beyond Play Doh, which art supplies have gluten? What do you avoid? How do you figure out which art supplies are ok?

Check the ingredients, just like with food. I think most art supplies are safe, as far as gluten goes anyway. Wall paper paste may have wheat in it tho, and some glues have wheat also. So just check the ingredients. Art supplies for kids are usually made with less hazardous materials, like no cadmiums etc. But gluten isn't considered hazardous in art supplies, so you need to check for it.
