Does anyone know if Kroger - Low Moisture Part Skim Mozzarella Cheese - Finely Shredded is gluten free ?

I want to make pizza, I already have the gluten free crust and pepperoni and this cheese was in the fridge.

I have never seen a mozzarella that wasn't. Read the ingredients.

I'm not eating cheese at the moment, but until about 2 weeks ago I ate Kroger cheese pretty much by the pound. I bought both shredded and block, never found one that was not okay. Kroger is awesome at labeling. I once found canned beans that said something about processed in a facility that blah blah blah.... I trust them. But I have actually eaten exactly that cheese, it was fine.

I will second what was already said though. Always, without question, read every label. This forum, no matter how reliable a source of information is not a substitute for being able to care for yourself in that way. Ingredients in a product can change at any time, can vary by country or even by region. I may have the same thing in my cupboard someone is asking about but if we bought them months apart one may be safe and one may be all sorts of full of wheat. So again, because it can not be stressed enough, while that cheese is almost certainly safe, every label, every time. This is the motto by which we all need to live.

Good to know. Thank you. We eat a TON of cheese here and I was concerned. Thanks again!

BTW, we've done other articles on this topic that I wanted to share here (not to condone smoking!):

Hi everyone  This has been a crazy year so far... How many people actually get entire sensory overload from gluten or something similar ?  My jaw is going nuts ..and that nerve is affecting my upper back and so on ...  Bones even hurt.  Brain fog. Etc  I had eggs seemed fine.   Then my aid cooked a chicken stir fry in the microwave because my food order shorted a couple key items .   I was so hungry but I noticed light breading and some ingredients with SOY !!! Why are we suffering with soy ? This triggered a sensitivity to bananas and gluten-free yogurt it seems like it's a cycle that it goes on.  The tiniest amount of something gets me I'm guessing the tiny bit of breading that I took one tiny nibble of ...yikes ..im cringing from it .. Feels like my stomach is going to explode yet still very hungry 😔  How long does this last?! Thank you so much

This is an older article, but may be helpful.

I have had orthodontic work done. The 3M invisalign material was no problem. BUT my retainers are another matter. They seemed okay for a few months. Now, however, they cause a burning sensation on my tongue, gums and insides of my lips. The burning sensation is now spreading to my throat. I notice it when I breathe. This is annoying and interferes with my enjoyment of eating. I am visiting with my provider tomorrow. We'll see where this goes from here.

Exactly which blood tests were done? There are a few different ones and some docs don't do them all. Also, your results and reference ranges for each?
