I posted this info on the forum talking about Bard's beer being recalled....

I found a Chinese beer being imported into the Cleveland Area that is made from Black Rice....Yinpu Beer. The local health food store where I shop turned me onto this in substitute for the Bard's which is off the shelves right now. I Bought and drank a 6-pack of it this past weekend and had no adverse effects.

They have a website (although it doesn't mention anything related to Celiac) but you can look for yourself @ www.yinpubeer.com

That's kind of a bizarre website! "Put a tiger in the tank while you're prowling the neighborhood" :ph34r:

I wish they had it around here, I was hoping for a store locator or something.

I had Yinpu Black Rice Beer down in a bar on Bleecker Street in NYC. Felt great! Unique taste but not bad at all for a "maintstream" brew.

      KAN‑101 is still very much in development and being actively studied.       Thiamine interacts with all the other B vitamins.  Thiamine and B 6 make a very important enzyme together. With more thiamine and other vitamins available from the supplements your body is absorbing the ones you need more of.  The body can control which vitamins to absorb or not.  You're absorbing more and it's being transported through the blood.   It's common to have both a Thiamine and a Pyridoxine deficiency.  Keep taking the B Complex. This is why it's best to stop taking supplements for six to eight weeks before testing vitamin levels.

      Yes I took a supplement that had B6 in it, low dosage though. I've stopped taking that. B1 doesn't affect other B vitamin levels?
