  1. Aren't they working on a blood test there too? One that is done in the finger. I thought I read that somewhere.. I sure hope it will not end up being a "fiasco" with EnteroLab..
  2. Makes me think of the 2 Australian doctors who found the Helicobacter and said they caused Ulcers in the stomach. The world laughed at them for 10 years, then they got the Nobel prize. Maybe EnteroLab/Dr Fine will end up that way.. I saw that he was mentioned in the back as a author to a book, but not EnteroLab itself/the work...
  3. I am curious if you guys know how other doctors/"the world" look upon EnetroLab. I haven't seen EnteroLab getting mentioned in any books I have read or any articles. Seems many doctors do not honor their results either. Do you guys have any impression of this? Thoughts?

    ARCHIVED Doctor In Anchorage, Alaska?

I have had bad luck with doctors (as so many others here) and I was thinking I'd ask if anyone knows of a good doctor in Anchorage, Alaska.
  5. That is what my sister in law talked about too. It is a pretty interesting idea. In some ways it would make sence, but who knows.
  6. My sister in law talked about this with me the other weekend. She hasn't been all that correct with other stuff so I didn't believe it. I have no idea if it is true though. She siad she read it in a book called " You are what you eat".
  7. My bowel has taken command over my life too. I so feel for you. I am kinda in the same situation as you. Not feeling quite as dissy as you though, but I dream of food and naseau at night. Then wake up feeling awful. I feel like I am going insane. I am so tired of this. So you are not alone, not that that is much of a comfort.
  8. I have had so much gas the last couple of days it isn't even funny. My stomach hurts. A bit more than usual. I feel my stomach hates food right now but I need to eat because I get a bit naseaus when I get hungry. I feel so blue right now. Things feel hopeless. It's like I am just getting worse. I eat gluten free ham, rice, bananas, potatoes, water melon...
  9. Last spring when I was very sick for a month because of the GI I ran a fever off and on. Pretty high for a little bit there too. During the summer, when I got glutened, I ran a low fever too. I am normally a bit under normal in temperature.
  10. They have so many...which ones do you get? Did your nutritionist recommend any inparticular? I find that I can feel bad from some Vitamines...especially if they have a lot of Magnesium for some reason. I get fast blood sugar drops from that. Kinda strange..
  11. Thank you both! Can I find the Kirkman brand in a store?
  12. I have been trying to find Vitamins. The ones I am eating has soy in them...so now I know why stomach got upset again and again. Anyways, I have been trying to look online, in my local grocery store and I did a search here but came up with tons of threads.. So I am wondering if anyone knows of any casein, gluten and soy free Vitamins? I...
  13. I think I believe you. Yesterday I had nasty heart burn (from probably being glutened from the keyboard/mouse the evening before) and today my body aches. Especially my back. Have a head ache too. My husband is now instructed not to eat by the computer.
  14. She is a German Shephard/Labrador retriver mix. A "Germador Shephiver". 2,5 years old now. She is a "forever puppy" though.
  15. Okay here is the reply: They have like 40% salt (daily amount) in them, just thought I'd mention that.
  16. 1/48th of a slice of bread... Thanks for the link! This all is making me feeling better about what I am doing. You are right in that I shouldn't care. Some times it just gets "lonely on the paranoid side of this" if you know what I mean. I think I needed to read all of this too to feel I am doing the right thing.
  17. I have been using these products: Open Original Shared Link I LOVE them. Great little company it seems. $3.99 flat rate shipping no matter how much you get.
  18. I have that book. Haven't read it all yet. I need to do that. Maybe that book will be my sister in laws christmas gift. She would get mad I think. I am starting to think I am very sensetive. I had the nastiest heart burn today, my stomach hurts and is all swell up. My husband ate donuts by the computer yesterday. I used it after him and then I...
  19. Thanks for the link and replies. I didn't see it on that page so I sent off a message via their Costumer Service. I'll post their answer here when I get it.
  20. I have been eating this Smoked Pork Chop. Now I am wondering if it is safe. These are the ingredients: Cured with water, salt, potassium Lactate, Dextrose, Sodium Phosphates, Sodium Diacetate, Sodium Erythorbate, Sodium Nitrite Maybe the fact that it is smoked can be bad too? It is darn salty too. Now I feel stupid that I ate it.
  21. Something else I just realized.. I share tooth past with my husband who eats gluten. Maybe I should get my own. This never ends.. So many things to think of.
  22. I am wondering if anyone know of any Gluten, Casein and Soy free Cough Drops?
  23. Sounds like your doctor is like the ones I have met. After spending some time reading about gluten intolerance I felt I knew more than they did. Some of them told me the weirdest things. My blood test came out negative twice (10 years apart). Now I got positive on Milk and gluten from EnteroLab. In Sweden (where I am from) it is illigal to keep...
  24. Reading you signature my story is pretty similar to yours. I feel personality changed almost. The only thing I never seemed to have a problem with is sleeping. Even had mononucleosis when I was 20. I have thought of the silverware drawer. There are crums in it. I usually check the silverware I use but do not always wash them off. Today I have...
