Can you eat Naturel Yoghurt? It has those bacterias in them and helpes with candida infections. There are pills to eat too. I actually have gotten much less of this problem since I stopped with gluten. I have had problems all my adult life. Also not using soap down there helpes, not taking baths, sleeping without under wear, avoiding sweets, not...

Some good dog treats tips there. Thanks. I am glad your family is at least interested in trying to work with you. Mine has no interest what so ever. They keep on with what they always did and let me make my own food. So I never eat what they eat. I am sure this will always be the case for the rest of my life. I'll always have to bring my own dinner...

I was just going to get a new Teflon pan and a new cutting board but ended up with new everything (not a new toaster, I just don't use any at all for now). For now we live with with my husband's family (we have moved back and forth between Sweden and Alaska and are trying to get enough money to build a little house here) and that is what making things much...

Thank you all!! These replies are just what I needed to read. I am gonna have my husband take a look at this too. He is very supportive as is but I think he is trying to make sence out of things too. The problem is his parents and his siblings with families. Especially his sister. She has read this book ("You are what you eat") and now she is a very...

ARCHIVED Just Got Enterolab Results In, Confused!
Yenni replied to mindypal's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I am very new at this too and just got my results the other week. My Gluten was 12 and my casein was 11. On top of that my soy was 9 but I am pretty sure I have a problem with soy still, so I don't eat that either. Even if my results were low there is no doubt in my mind that I am not intolerant to these things because I have been very sick for almost ... -
I want to join the support group up here. I will bring my husband there. It isn't mainly my husband that is the "trouble maker" for me. I know that with some time his analytical brain will accept things. Thank you all for your replies. Means a lot to me. I have a question about this atricle: Open Original Shared Link It claimes...

ARCHIVED Just Got Enterolab Results In, Confused!
Yenni replied to mindypal's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
This is from EnteroLabs page: So as far as I understand it it doesn't matter if your result is low or high. You are gluten intolerant no matter what as long as it is positive. -
ARCHIVED Bbq Brickets Can Have Gluten?
Yenni posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I heard someone mentioning that the BBQ Briquettes can have gluten in them and that I need to get "organic" ones instead. I am not sure if it is true and couldn't find any info on it so far. Anyone know if it is true? (sorry I spelled Briquettes wrong, english is my second language ) -
I feel hungry very often too. I don't go more than 2,5 hours without eating. It is crazy.

I feel I am in a dilemma with my husband and my family. At first when I started with a Gluten free diet I thought it was just not eating it, plain and simple…but then when I started reading books and coming here the whole thing about cross contamination presented itself. Now I feel it isn’t just about not eating gluten it is about making sure the stuff you...

ARCHIVED Toothpast, Dental Floss, Dill Pickles ;o)
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I think this must be the first time in years I am not getting any canker sores in my mouth while using a sulfate containing tooth paste. Maybe it was the gluten. -
ARCHIVED Online Gluten-free Cooking Magazine :)
Yenni replied to RiceGuy's topic in Gluten-Free Recipes & Cooking Tips
I found that page a couple of days ago too. Looks good but I am not sure I wanna pay for it right now. I am trying to figure out the cookbooks I have gotten first. It looks like a nice page though. -

ARCHIVED Fear I'll Never Get Well
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I am trying to eat as much unprocessed food as possible. In fact I don't eat much procesed food at all. Mostly rice, pork shops, ham, potatoes, sallad, hot gluten free cereal, chicken.. My big problem is that my husband and I do not live in our own place (long story short we live with his folks because of money and a move across the world) and it is VERY... -

ARCHIVED Morning Sickness All My Life
Yenni replied to Jeepster's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I had to laugh reading the subject name and I was thinking to myself : that is me! I haven't had these problems all my life but the last 5 years. Nasty nausea almost every morning. Sometimes I wake up at night with it. I usually force myself to eat and after a while after eating it gets better. I usually have a Banana by my bed and eat it as soon as a... -
ARCHIVED Fear I'll Never Get Well
Yenni posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I know I am only in the beginning of things. I just got my Enterolab results; Gluten & Casein were both positive. Possibly Soy too. Soy was 9 and I seem to feel icky from it. I started my Gluten free diet in May, stopped with Casein a while after. Ate Soy up until now. more or less I have had many changes already but I still feel so tired, my stomach... -

ARCHIVED Enterolab Results
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
Thanks for the link. I don't have any amalgams so it can't be that. I think this stuff runs in my family. My grandma had massive amounts of problems with her stomach and my aunt has problems too. Mom seems to have some problems sometimes, but not enough to bother her. What stuff are you struggling with? I seem to have this tired... -
ARCHIVED Enterolab Results
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
I was tested for allergies as a kid. It showed I am allergic to birch pollen, nuts, stone fruits. Pears I have figured out on my own. I have been on regular doctors visits and they showed all of my blood stuff is okay. I did a endoscopi 1993 and that showed nothing but they checked only because of sever heart burn. My mom gets skin reactions to chemical... -
ARCHIVED Enterolab Results
Yenni replied to Yenni's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
The fact that I am allergic to nuts/almonds, stone fruits and pears do not make this easier. I used to be able to eat peanuts (which is a bean). I am gonna try it again. I felt sick from eating it a couple of years ago, but it could have been something else. I am a nutritionally challenged person. I have problems with chemichals and stuff too... -
ARCHIVED Enterolab Results

And they are casein free too then? Can you recommend a brand? I feel so lost about this. Would be great to get something to just look for. I have been off gluten for 4-5 months now so I guess I might have healed some too. I have had a very long 4,5 years. I have been so sick. I feel today, when I got my results..well it is a big day. I finally know... -
ARCHIVED Anyone Get Worse As The Day Goes On?
Yenni replied to Terch's topic in Celiac Disease Pre-Diagnosis, Testing & Symptoms
That is exactly the way it is for me. Really bad in the morning and then slowly get better as the days goes by. Then after dinner I get bloated and icky feeling again. The evening thing is better now when I am off gluten.
