  1. My older daughter is going for her biopsy. She can't eat or drink anything but clear liquids after 12am. This will be tough. She is a big time midnight snacker. I have locks on the cabinets but she knows how they work. If I tell her she can't eat she wont really care if she is hungry,This will be tough.Maybe if she eats alot before bed and put her to bed...

  5. Nicole was diagnosed in july of 06. I had my older dd tested because they have a certain % of having it also,Plus when she was a bit younger she has issues with constipation. We did the blood work and hers it positive also. She is having her biopsy on the 27th of this month. Celina

  7. I think they would be positive for a bit longer after being gluten free,It does take time for the result to be neg. My daughter is having her repeat blood work next thursday she has been gluten free since july 22,2006. She is so much better too. Celina
  8. The Gi dr is repeating her bloodwork next thursday to make sure she is in fact gluten free although those cheerios may show up. They check the levels every 4 months or so. Wish us luck. Celina

  11. I would ask that if they do stuff like that at school again that involves food at all to call you first to make sure it is ok. I don't think there would be any problem with that. Just to be safe because as we all know it is hiding just about everywhere. I hope it all works out. Celina
  12. Well I ahve already posted that my older daughter alivia tested + for celiac also. But the GI dr ran some more blood work and i emailed him the results and if they were ok. He said that her wbc are slightly decreased (her celiac screening they were also decreased in aug) and her allergy cells wre very high. And he then said the results of the biopsy should...
  13. forgot to add. 1 of Nicoles speech areas before the diet were at 12-15 months and she was 25 months at the time. Since the diet her last assesment at 33 months was at 23 months which is a huge jump from last time 8 months ago. Don't you think?   14. Can celiac cause developmental delays? I thought I read somewhere that it does,But cannot find it now. Nicole is behind in alot of areas.   17. I heard back from the rheumy. She said her ANA is slightly positive. And over 5% of patients with a + don't even have autoimmune disorders. But I then asked if she can explain what all her other symptoms that seemed like lupus symptoms. But we will see what she says.   22. I Think it is just called pacific they have a rice milk and almond that are gluten free. My daughter likes them both also there is natures's best that is gluten free and I believe rice dream but don't quote me on that one it may have barley or something sililar just read the label.   23. My daughters GI dr said if they are not eating gluten the tests will be neg. So that is why until the biospsy he said just feed her normally and don't cut out the gluten it will make the show neg even if she really has it. It does make a difference I got this info from a dr at childrens hospital in boston. It is true.
  24. I have tried to figure it out. But I know the season doesn't matter because it is year round. And they started when we live in our old place. I posted somewhere else in her that her IgE levels are very high for some unknown reason and it is not Celiac related. Her IgE is 272 and the norm is <30 Thanks for the help I will keep you updated.
