Dear Laura, I hope you feel better soon! I am so sorry you had to have a flare while you must attend your sister's wedding. These things always manage to be inconvenient. There never is a good time for them. Perhaps you will begin to feel a little better at least tomorrow. Sincerely, ... -

Dear Andrea, I am glad you posted this. It seems I do not have to be paranoid now! I would like to get a Brita filter. That would really help. I miss our Culligan! It died! I do not need to drink tap water, because my body already seems to have too many toxins in it! Sincerely, ... -

Dear Tiffany, Can you recommend a filter? Do you have Brita or PUR filter? I was wondering, because our Culligan broke in our refrigerator. It would be nice to have water without the chlorine and chemicals in it for my coffee. I do not need any other unhealthy things in my system! Sincerely, ... -

Dear eLaurie, I heard water filters were a concern as well. I did not even know they used charcoal! That was a huge surprise for me. If they are safe, it would be great if some others could confirm. Right now, I am drinking bottled flavored waters. Sincerely, NoGluGirl -

Dear Donna, I am allergic to dustmites. I sneeze like crazy around them. I cannot handle dust, either. I always have had a reaction to mold as well. I had skin testing done a couple of years ago, and found out I am also allergic to dogs! It is not like I can just get rid of my pet! I am not allergic to cats, though. Guess what my parents... -

Dear Lisa, Brown rice is okay for the Candida Diet. All grains on that diet are in very small amounts. The large number of carbohydrates is a concern. Many times, people with a yeast overgrowth cannot tolerate gluten. Corn is allowed, but as I said, in small amounts. It is the same with beans and other high carbohydrate foods. ... -
Dear scotty, Our dog does not like being splashed. He likes to drink out of the faucet, though. It is so funny! He has a thing about it. We used to have a Standard Schnauzer who loved mud. She liked to swim, and would even dunk her whole head underwater! However, she hated being bathed! If you could get your own set of silverware...

Dear Lisa, Yes, Candida causes constipation in many people! It is more common than diarrhea for it. Stool softeners sometimes can be too mild. You probably have a lot of gas, too. It makes you cramp. Stimulant laxatives are wise to stay away from. They normally irritate your body more. I cannot tolerate psyllium husk. I nearly died from... -

Dear Patti, I am not sure if it was the virus or the antibiotics, or both. It is difficult to say what set this off. All I know is, I am tired of dealing with it! Like you said, it could be anything! I have been eating nothing but canned fruits, fresh fruits, canned vegetables, and meat. That is it! I know the Candida may be contributing... -
Dear Carla, I am going to check the salt out. I agree that there is more causing high BP than salt intake. I also believe as you do, that it is not what we eat, but what kind of fats, carbs, salt, and proteins we consume. Our bodies know what is good for it, and what is not. I think it is better for us to be natural when possible. If I had...

Dear Bully4You, I have explored Indian Ayurvedic medicine as well. It is very interesting. I think it could be very helpful. When you eat right, your body responds. I have Thyroid issues, so the heat certainly affects me in a bad way a lot of the time. Dear Carla, That is interesting about the salt being okay for people...

Dear Rachel, Thanks for the info on celiac disease-57. That is really interesting. I am glad you found that. This makes a lot of sense. I will keep that test in mind. Do you know what CMP-18 is for? A while back, tiredofdoctors mentioned it. I have charlie horses, but when I am sitting. It is horrible! My leg goes numb... -
Dear scotty, Our dog is afraid of farts! My mother farted on him! Now he is traumatized! He raises his leg up on everything, even after we take him out. Yorkies do this. Everyone I spoke to who owns one said the same thing. They are stubborn. They refuse to do what they are trained to do. As far as how important it is...

Dear Rinne, I have actually thought about pursuing a comedy career. I always thought of stand-up. Maybe I should get myself out there on open mike night? At least that would be something different. Blow me if I haven't made a decision! That never gets old! Dear Andrea, I might be able to get pans a little at a... -

Dear Nikki, Nice to see you again! How have you been doing? We have had a number of developments! Well, blow me if we have not made progress! I love saying that! Dear Everybody, I took the sensitivity test as well. I scored 20. That is highly sensitive. I know much of this has to do with my psychic ability... -

Dear Carla, Thanks for the link! I am so glad you found that! You know, I think I sell some of those! Maybe I could afford a set! The white price is fairly inexpensive. That is one advantage I have. I can purchase my own products for less! That would be great! Dear Bev, That cake and Reese's Cups sound heavenly! Don... -

Dear Rinne, I will definitely look into the Lyme site you mentioned. I want to find out more. I am sure the Salt/C combo could really help me. That is what I could do right now! The sooner I start doing something, however small, the better! Sincerely, Jin -

Dear Andrea, I do not think I can afford cast iron. I can afford an entire set of non-stick pans. I know how bad this stuff is. I know I cannot keep up what I am doing now. I am thoroughly exhausted spending half of my day cooking and cleaning. I need to start making all of my meals in one day for several hours, then freeze or... -
Dear scotty, ROFLMAO! Ah, poo slang...a forgotten genre of writing. Here is a new one for you ----Casper Crap. It is what happens when you do a barium procedure! Seriously, those tirds could glow in the dark! It is scary! I work at home, so I am fortunate enough to be able to go to the bathroom more often. However, I get...

Dear Rinne, I wonder if maybe our local health food store has Salt/C. They can order in what they do not always have in stock, too. I think it is amazing something so simple could help Lyme! There is so much wrong, and I need to get it fixed. The Babs is likely the biggest trouble. Dairy is something I can handle a little... -

Dear Carla, I should probably try that solution. I am allergic to dyes, and Gatorade definitely has them. It is so hard to avoid dyes. They are in everything! It can get really frustrating. Thanks for the info. Dear Claire, I have had ultrasounds before. I had cysts previously on my ovaries. The Mayan massage sounds good... -
Dear scotty, I get that way being outside sometimes, too. Mine is due to the heat and my Thyroid, though. The trouble is that we know we are limited right now. It is frustrating. You see other people get up and go to the store without have to take a second thought. It would be nice. I wish I had more energy. I could be anemic, so that could...

Dear Andrea, Finances are a big stressor. Don't you hate it when people who have money say they know how you feel? Then in the next breath, make it sound like money grows on trees? Those people have no idea! Many people who have money say that money is not important. The thing is, that is not true. They say money cannot buy happiness... -

Dear Melissa, You are so welcome! I am sure you guys are on a tight budget as well. It is nice to know there are things at the regular store you can get! I was surprised at what we could eat, too! I feel it is important to make this as easy as possible for others. I do not want everyone else having to exhaust themselves calling manufacturers... -
Dear scotty, With Candida, those things are supposed to be avoided on the strict regimen. However, it is easier on your body not to implement these changes all at once. You should do them gradually. Corn and soy are not off limits for Candida. Corn must be in small amounts, though. It is high in carbs. Again, that is on the strict regimen...
