  1. Ohhhhh..... thanks patti- you are too sweet! And thank you all for your good thoughts, positive vibes and prayers. 29 minutes till the boob squishing begins I'll let everyone know what's happening!
  2. I'm so glad people feel comfortable talking about this. Depression is one of the clinical symptoms of celiac. Someone on another thread (I wish I could remember which one) said that gastroenterologists are starting to acknowledge the stomach as a 2nd brain which I think makes COMPLETE sense! It would be intersting to see as people heal if they can reduce...
  3. OK soccer mom- you cannot, in good conscience, ban Speedos and wear that thing! Me thinks neither are attractive. As for what's residing north of your belt buckle, I'm sure I speak for most women that they would rather deal with a belly than a frightening undergarment!!!!!!!!!!!!! :P  have you seen the Cooper mini campaign that says, 'It's...
  4. Nikki- Body Pump? that sounds like plastic surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes- Angus was helping me exercise. Last night he helped me take a bath by jumping in it! I'm sorry but I couldn't stop laughing....here I was with my candles and such trying to ease my wary muscles with Angus munching happily on toilet paper. He comes over. Puts his front paws...
  5. This isn't funny so much as cute: "Dogs Welcome" A man wrote a letter to a small hotel in a Midwest town he planned to visit on his vacation. He wrote: I would very much like to bring my dog with me. He is well-groomed and very well behaved. Would you be willing to permit me to keep him in my room with me at night?" An immediate reply came...
  6. We've been wondering this on another thread as when I first went gluten-free 2 years ago it was the general word that bleu cheese was out since it was aged on bread. Does anyone know if this is true? Are there any that aren't grown on bread? Would wheat have to be listed as an ingredient if it were aged that way?
  7. I was about to ask this very question lately! I think I'll sart a thread in Products and see what happens. I've been eating gorgonzola but I miss my blue (bleu) cheese!
  8. OMG- no. Pizza in ANY form is good! Next time I make this I will add garlic to the cheese stuffing.
  9. I've gained TWO STONE (I'm watching Ab Fab right now) but I was about 1 stone underweight. I almost exploded over the holidays. I would love to bonk you on the head Angus would LOVE to chase you around...
  11. Yeah-uhm..that gene skipped me too. I've been racheling Namaste Blondies and Sunflower butter. Not together.but OMG....I can't stop! Bad bad bad. I ordered the New York City Ballet workout videos. We'll see if that helps! And a bikini. maybe I'll hang it on the fridge as a deterrent.

  15. Where 'tis everyone today? I want to play! I have a funny story. A friend of ours was over Saturday night and was talking about his three year old daughter who is quite a spitfire. He was talking to her and he said, "Tell me a secret sweetie". She leaned in his ear and whispered, "Daddy, I don't love you" then exploded in laughter. He did NOT think it...
  16. Thanks for sharing TinkerbellSwt! That's a lot. I'm not planning on going off my meds. I'm the same as you (but unipolar) and I know that this is a chemical imbalance. I just wonder sometimes if all this would have occured without gluten in my life.
  17. That would be so fun! email me and let's see if we can work something out.
  18. YES! It's the plague we've been waiting for
  19. Bean- I'm happy to "see" you, but not hear your news. Does refractory sprue mean forever or will it just take longer than 6 months. Alos, you wouldn't know about microscopic colitis unless yu had a colonoscopy and they took a sample to examine. I'm sorry Bean *HUGS*
  20. That makes NO sense at all...like your doctor is going to know!
  21. I like cabot products and have never had a problem with them.
  22. See- you love Mr Darcy- na na na na na! I just started randomly leaving silly comments when I realized it was kind of fun! Darcy says: In vain have I struggled, it will not do. You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you. You say, "oh my, that's nice. Now bugger off!" 1 year later...first comes love, then comes marriage...
  23. Ryan- I'm sorry too. This must have been such a let down after such a big buildup. But now you get to stay with your wife and baby girl! Molly- You are always doing the coolest things!
  24. Thanks everyone! Clyde's sounds so romantic! And I've heard of the Capital Grille. We'll be there Feb 13th-16th. Yippee!
