I had 2 kitchens of india ones with no trouble but i dont remember then saying wheat on the label and im usually pretty sensitive about that. If it says may contain wheat I would not try it. If its something like palak paneer or chana masala there...
  2. if another country did to our food system what we are doing to it, it might be considered an act of war. I firmly believe we have celiac because of the modified wheats in the late 60s. Maybe some are or are not genetically predisposed but that does not change what happens when the modified wheats are consumed. Im glad to see your comments since the USDA...
  3. Ive been gluten-free for 7 years and vegan for almost 3. Keep wishing I could go raw too but spend too much time traveling. 17. I really enjoyed the book for a number of reasons, primarily because it justifies what I've been telling people for a number of years. It also touches on the dangers of GMO as it gets into how the wheat was modified in the late 60s which is the root of a lot of problems besides the dramatic increase in celiac and other problems many of us face, not just...

  22. In 1904 Banana flour was one of Hawaii's largest exports. 200,000 tons! -- Now its impossible to find at any store. I do make my own from time to time but prefer jackfruit seed flour as its more naturally sweet
  23. I like spinach so i tend to make a puree with that or other greens for some crepes. FInely diced bok choy, corn, red pepper and sweet onion is another filling. What ever fresh tropical fruit is in season works great too. Made lychee dessert crepes a few days ago.
  24. I just use the flour and water with no eggs. Like Indian flat breads or dosa. Millet does work very well too.
  25. I use both buckwheat flour and chick pea flour for crepes, USed to mix it but now use both depending on whats inside. Check pea is a little sweeter
