    see I have the baby celiac. no one else is Celaic. So I have messy cereal eaters. But I have a dog.... so that funny as it sounds .. has made crumbs .. dissapear. dog is huge... But... The baby ate roast beef and carrots and peas.. Loves the roast beef. But I have to find the right tasting foods... See no one wants to eat the gluten free stuff because...

    So I am not loosing my mind and everyone hates the taste. I am getting the kinniknick flour..... that is it... I wil throw the other ( ucky flour) in the trash shhhhh I dont want my husband to know.... he will be mad..) $$$$. But to go throught what I went through to get that awful taste..out of my mouth.....all the m&ms sacrficed..... and all that...

    I noticed that when the zanthum gum was put in the cookie dough .. It turned shiny and had a weird texture..... That was odd.... DOes guar gum have any weird things like that.... is it the same adding to the flours...... I really did not like the taste.

    It seems funny that Flour is such a big thing right now.... there is so much to consider when used in the wrong way can kill you( lol ) But what I need to know... is this Is xanthum gum needed in every flour mix( yes I realize that if its allready added duh ... but if you use say kinniknick ... or make your own out of rice .. pototo ... ect...

    when I feel like crying because my son has this ... which I do ah well often... I will remember your kind words.. dust my self off and know .. some one cares. nice words go a long way... thanks so much .. your comment will give me strength to not be so devastated by this ( disease)

    SUPER TARGET .... They have some stuff. ( But there in again ... I am in fla. ) but I have found that the Super Targets have diffent things that whole foods also have.

    hey i think it's really cool you try so hard. the CSA (celiac sprue assosiation) makes a new book every year...that you can buy on their website( i googled it) and i bought mine...it's very nice and it comes with alot of things that are totally gluten free...and other helpful things...i have had celiac since i was almost 2 so i love helping people who are new to this as much as possible...

    OkaY I admit throwing away the dough .. and the cookies .. okay bad mom... I know ( lol) but its nice to know that for everything the bean flavor kinda leaves. .... But I got the recipies off the land o lakes web site they have a gluten free section...

    I make the normal ones.... with the cream cheese ... and they are virtually free of gluten ... when you use the rice flour. But I grew up on these cookies and I love them ... but hope the new version is ( rice in stead of wheat flour) is just as good.

    Okay I know I have driven the flour wagon around now for a week. .... I am parking it today... BUT ... I tried bobs I hate it.. just hate it. last night I made sugar cookies and even the little bit of dough was so bad a stiff wiskey probably wouldnt have taken away this odd after tase the flour left... in my mouth... only a handful of M&Ms took...

    Okay I lost my last board message... But I do have a question.... how to make a better tasting flour mixture... I am guessing that it is a personal taste...... BUT OH GOD I feel like throwing up. I made the land of lakes sugar cookies for gluten free .. using bobs mill. and the xanthum gum.... tasted the dough .... I have this after taste..... what...

    OKAY according to my records here.... Some of you guys are thinking that the BEANS inthe flour mixes are making you sick...... ( Bobs I have to say I question only because of the video the provide on their web site.. I watched it and ended up more confused than thrilled.... ) .... about using the machines and then washing them and then making the gluten...

    Okay what was our final decision on gluten free flours... I have bobs red mill . DOes it make you guys sick>? I bought the stuff and want to use it for the baby's first sugar cookies but ... am scared . I am afraid that he will get sick .     You need to sit her down.. alone and tell her. We all have been throught the shock and pain. And being that.... that is your baby sitter... I think that the "mother inlaw" would be happier if you told her. Then she doesnt have the fear of giving the baby the wrong things. I would just tell them that there were tests done and this is the diagnosis. PERIOD...

    noooooooo way.... they must have ah ... falllen asleep at the desk on that one..... no kidding... What I want to ask them in my ( not written yet ) letter is why .. do they not have a web site.... that you can do this ... instead of having to call and be on hold for a million years. There has to be a reason that they omitted that.... maybe they were changing...

    Ah I can not believe my eyes..... I went to super target ... ( and my local publix ) and I found the pamelas mixes ..... kinniknick .. bobs ... gluten free pasta noodles.... The stuff seems cheaper than at whole foods.... But I am in shock ..... there were cake mixes ... and brownie mixes... all gluten free. I just wanted to share..... I think...

    Okay so you guys are gonna remember this for me when I go back next year.... ( You guys asked me to call Disney and I never got too.... ) So EPcot.. and the main street bakery.... Well that makes me feel better. I would honestly think that throught all of Disneys trials and truibilations ... that they would try to accomodate everyone to have as much fun...

    well I have suspicions. I mean even the things like gum are marked and the vanillia and the chocolate chips arent not . What gv just did not get to those items yet?????

    My baby had ROTO VIRUS and never was the same after. He would vomit for a few hours after he was given ( baby cereal) then it progressed to vomiting after cheerios and other things with wheat. Mine vomits after gluten. But had no other symptoms... because I was not giving him wheat. ( I researched the heck out of celiac disease.... then totally stopped...
