  3. I don’t have a Trader Joe’s to shop at. I have Barilla gluten-free fettuccine noodles, are they like that? I don’t have a food processor either
  4. Ugh the holidays are here and I’m dreading it. One of my most favorites dishes was my grandmas noodles that she just cooked in the turkey broth. Does anyone have any suggestions on a good replacement for egg noodles for this recipe?
  5. Thank you, I'm definitely wondering if that's what this is. My feet would actually blister when they would break out, but this is a little different. It is like a cluster that gets worse if I scratch or wear hot clothes or tighter pants. I've had hives off and on my whole life. These didn't seem like the typical hives, but sounds like autoimmune hives can...
  6. Does anyone else get rashes in the same places that just randomly come and go?? I keep getting raised bumps and rash like on the back of my upper thigh. I've tried everything it seems but it always comes back
  7. So true!! its a huge change. It doesn't help that gluten free food replacements are so expensive and most taste pretty bad. Bread and crackers like saltine and ritz have been a huge struggle of mine....I really like tuna fish but I like it with saltines or as a sandwich. I miss sandwiches in general. I'm dreading next week bc ill have to basically take my...
  8. I'm fairly new to trying to live 100% gluten free. I've had to sort of doctor myself and figure things out. I thought I was misdiagnosed years ago but just trusted my doctor. since ive only gotten worse over the years I've done some research and joined here and looks like I was right all along. So at this point I would say I'm doing much better but unfortunately...
  9. Thank you, I will try this and see how things go I wish it were easier here in the US
  10. Are there others who have not gotten the biopsy or had a negative biopsy but still have celiac disease? Is the biopsy fool proof? I wasn't referred To GI after my blood work several years ago and was basically misled and told I did not have celiac disease, even with a positive TTG-iGA. I honestly cannot financially afford the biopsy or the time off...
  11. My mom has spider veins, lots of them. I do have some fluid retention issues but I have for years, nothing severe though, no.odd colors, pale like always lol
  12. So can celiac disease cause vein issues in your legs? I'm 39 with terribly embarrassing spider veins and during this last year I've really noticed prominent veins in my legs and feet and some seem to almost pop out / bulge out. Not sure it matters but I am on a beta blocker Aside from being terribly self conscious about this I'm concerned...I...

  15. Thank you! I will check these out on amazon. What improvements did you notice the most? I'm assuming you kind of diagnosed yourself with a lot of this? No blood tests for thiamine deficiency?
  16. Well.I have no idea what the RDA is for any of these but I already take a multivitamin, plus 5000 i.u. of vitamin D3, zinc and biotin. I bought some B1, B12 and a super B complex to start taking. So as long as I don't overdose on vitamins lol. I'm honestly up for anything that might help me. I'm concerned I've destroyed my body and it's starting to turn...
  17. Thank you, best of luck to your daughter as well
  18. So can you take too many b vitamins or are they safe to take bc they are water soluble?
  19. Wow, thank you for all this. Maybe I've found a solution to feeling so poorly with the sugar issues and gluten-free eating
  20. Wow thank you for this insightful information!! I will look into this, so is the fact that the gluten-free foods don't contain the same nutrients and things the reason they mess with my blood sugar so much??
  21. I was diagnosed with insulin resistance/pre-diabetes years ago. I take metformin which is not supposed to mess with your blood sugar. I'm struggling with my blood sugar since trying to stick to gluten free living. Its not all gluten-free foods but particular ones. Every time I eat gluten-free bread I get sick with sugar issues. Can anyone relate or help me...
