  1. Yes, the tabs are gluten-free. I forgot to post...sorry The reason they made me call was that "they don't give out medical info in e-mails".......uhhhhok whatever lol So after 10 min making my way through their phone system and people I was told "yep gluten-free" -Jessica
  2. Thanks for the number. I had an e-mail in to them. They wrote me back today saying that I needed to call a certain number and give them this case # and then they will talk to me haha. This could get interesting....stay tuned. I'll post what I find out -Jessica

  4. I am going to go ahead and answer my own question. I called their 1-800 number (1-800-647-2529) this morning. I was told it is gluten-free and NOT made on shared lines. So MiraLAX is gluten-free -Jessica
  5. I am needing to know if MiraLAX is gluten-free? I get to have another colonoscopy/endoscopy (sarcastic YEAH!) ha . This is the prep they will be using IF it is gluten-free. Thanks in advance for the help! -Jessica

  8. I wore a green t-shirt to my CT Scan today. Has anyone heard if they are doing any sort of memorials for Bette? -Jessica
  9. I had my CT this morning. It went very well. They made sure the contrast was gluten-free, even let me read the bottle to double check. They brought out the crystal light and let me read it (it was KRAFT). They were SOOOO understanding about making sure I didn't get glutened. They had a hard time getting my IV in. It took a few sticks to get it done...

  11. Another good tip is to remember to rinse the pasta with some cool water. Otherwise it continues to cook even after drained. (I never knew this until someone pointed it out to me). -Jessica
  12. Martha...Happy Late Birthday!! It sounds like you had an excelent one. That is so nice when people take the time to "figure it out" and show they care!! Congrats on having some great co-workers. -Jessica

  14. This sounds SOOOOOOOOOoo sinful!! I'm dying to try it. Thanks for sharing. -Jessica
  15. Ooopss sorry didn't mean to confuse you. The imaging center where I am having my CT done says that THEY will be mixing the contrast with crystal light........unless I bring my own (like country time lemonade). Sooo that was why I was wondering if crystal light is gluten-free. I'll probably just take my country time with me haha Tastes better anyways. I take...

  17. Green is the color for celiac awareness. Just like pink is for breast cancer, yellow for cancer etc. It is used for awareness ribbons, bracelets, t-shirts etc. -Jessica
  18. I am finally having my CT scan on Friday. I'm a bit nervous, but I am sure it will be fine. I have had one before and it was no big deal. I guess I just want to find out what this pain is I have been having for the last few months. I know someone had mentioned before that you need to ask for a certain kind of contrast (the stuff you drink). I believe...
  19. I'm loving the link to the meat cake!!! That is too funny. Thanks for sharing. -Jessica
  20. That is great!! I'm much more enclined to buy products that are labeled gluten-free. YEAH for Yoplait!! -Jessica
  21. Comming from a teacher's perspective, this statement could really move you in a direction you don't want to head in with your school. "Threatening" a teacher or principal or school isn't going to create a positive environment for anyone. I believe that you need to form a partnership with the school, not scare the bejezus out of them!! Educate them,...
  22. Cindy Lou- In the first example you listed, that is a very common mistake/rule break here at celiac.com people post a link to their own blog. This is against the board rules. It seems that we must have missed that post (it DOES happen, we are only human volunteers). If you look at the board rules it states that you/anyone is not allowed to promote their...
  23. I had sent an e-mail to GIG to find out if any services or memorials had been set up yet. Here is the info that I got back from them: Bette passed away Friday August 17, 2007. We are working very closely with Karol and will notify the Celiac Community when arrangements are complete. We do know a memorial service will be held at a later date...
  24. Rest in Peace Bette. You were a inspiration to many.
