Just bringing this to the top for anyone. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm in my third week of abx and still feel the same ol crappy except the restless leg has come back with a vengence so I'm not sleeping to well. This was my biggest improvement sense the candida diet but it's gone for now. (Sob). So I guess I'm worse but don't know whether... -

Just a few comments To itchygirl Yes I have low pancreatic enzymes of Chymotrypsisn which is a key pancreatic enzyme for protein digestsion and Elastase. I had my tests done through Genova. My report reads that low pancreatic values may reflect pancreatic insufficiency, inadaquate stomach acid for enzyme activation, or prolonged transit time... -

Hi All. I had a good visit with J and Dr. H this week. I did a Glutithione shot. I had a anxious head rush and had a terrible flare in all my symptoms for two days. I don't know if this was a good thing or not? Some supposedly get lots of energy and clear mind when they get these but not for me. Oh well. I will be treated for co-inf as well. I dont... -

Just Fyi... my two tests from Igenex from 1/14/ 08 were still the 190 dollars. I had the kit shipped to my home. It may be more expensive if you get the kit from the Dr. Also it is confusing with the lyme specific bands. Dr. J criteria is different from Dr. B's and according to Dr. J my 8yo son would not have lyme but with Dr. B he would. I'm definitly... -

quick drive by. A couple of questions and sorry if they have already been discussed. Do any of you get an ache in your heart? Mine has been aching on and off for several months now, but just recently been constant. My left arm is definitly weaker, feels somewhat sore. My left fingertips are colder than the right. Left front side of my neck is sorer... -

Hi Scotty and welcome. I'm in the "thick" of it as well still eating limited foods until I get my metals and Lyme addressed in the proper manner. So far been using a holistic MD and Chiropractor to get through the days and feeling kinda lost doing it. But help is on the way in about 2 weeks. I am seeing Carla's Dr. and I live in Upstate NY, he is highly... -

Hi everyone. It's taken a few extra days to get these results because all the kids had fevers in the 103 range sence Sunday, so I just haven't been able to get out of the house. Both tests were CDC and IgeneX negative. You have to have 2 or more doubled starred bands present to be positive through IGeneX and 5 specific bands to be CDC positive. kid... -

fyi, My sensitivity to latex gets worse and worse anytime I had a procedure done or surgery. I got to the points where I request total latex free when I go for a check up d/t the latex issue. Nexcare is the brand of bandage I use without a problem. You'd be amazed at the thousands of items latex is in. Some people cannot even tolerate bananas, kiwi... -

Carla, They didn't say who I'd have for the PA. It'll be about a 6 hour drive for us, so we'll spend the night in a hotel the night before for the next day early apt. btw, dd is asleep now thank God! We'll see how she is tomorrow. Seems like everyday it's "something new". My mind is getting worse. I broke down and cryed tonight cuz I couldn... -

Yea!!!! I got in to see Dr. H Feb.19th. I will see the PA, and Dr. H pops in for part of the visit. He does not treat young children, so..... looks like I will probably try to get in and see Dr. J in Conn. if we can afford it. Today my 6yo dd had sereve pain in the webbing of her finger for no reason, esp inbetween her thumb and forefinger, it... -

Welcome Mrs.MH I just wanted to say I went to my first lyme support meeting about 20 min. from my home. It was so great. I got to meet several people and two of them see Dr. H and say he is the very best. I will be trying to make an apt tomorrow. They did tell me that sometimes Dr. H tells people calling he is not accepting new pts. Ohhh I hope... -

quick stop... Carla can I please have Dr. H's contact info and that Cowden protocol info you were talking about with Nixie I think? I decided to cancel my March apt d/t some bad reviews of Dr. S, so this makes two cancelations from me, not a good record. It's a good thing it's not" 3 strikes and your out" I haven't heard from Igenex as to the kids... -

Well said Carla And like Donna, whenever there was an upheaval in my life Lyme took over. I think eating as clean and healthy as I can and not letting stress effect me keeps my lyme symptoms (tolerable). I believe I've had lyme for a long, long time and I'm only 36 but when I got pregnant at 27 everything changed for me, I can't even handle misplacing... -

Rpm999, Spinning the blood separates the serum or plasma form the the whole blood sample. If it is not spinned the sample will start to coagulate and get thick and clumpy. I really don't know if the samples I sent are going to be viable when Igenex gets them. I'm hoping for the best, I want to spare the kids from getting poked again. Again I... -

Rpm999, Just wanted to chime in and say I'm glad your getting to the root of the problem. It was a relief to me as well. I'm just waiting till March to see the LLMD April, No I don't test well for Apple pectin, the stuff just plugs me right up. I take all that you listed except for the Molybedenum, and NAC. Oh I wanted to ask Rachel What do you do about vitamins? I know you eat peas for veggies but it seems to me you would be deficient with what you eat from day to day. I looked at your list of supplements and couldn't fathom that you are getting your vitamins except maybe C's, B's Please shed some light on my confusion.
