  1. I agree with the orange slices. When I was on a soccer team, our favorite snack was orange slices. They'd go WAY faster than anything like Rice Krispies, etc. because they were cold and really refreshing when it was 90 degrees and we had been running forever!
  2. It sounds like you're making the right decision Paula. It sounds like a tough one to make. We have had some custody issues and child support stuff and it has been hard for my mom to make decisions about how to pursue these kinds of things. OMG! You react to EVERYTHING! I can't wait to hear what your holistic MD has to say! LOL! I would LOVE...
  3. Can you ask her to sign him over to you and still have her go to jail? Or can you only do one or the other?
  4. I've had horchata...I didn't like it. But then again, I don't really like melted ice cream, so...
  5. You might want to look into Lyme Disease. It is very common to have lots of the symptoms you have with Lyme, even if you don't remember having a tick bite. Look for the Lyme Disease thread under "other intolerances/leaky gut issues" and see if you have any of the symptoms on the first page of the thread.
  6. You may also want to have an iron panel run. It usually includes your ferritin, total iron binding capacity (TIBC or IBC), iron saturation and it has a couple other things. It is either called an iron/anemia panel or hematology panel. Even though your hemoglobin may be within normal range, these other numbers can be low which makes you iron deficient...
  7. EXACTLY! LOL! Although my mom has been home and I've still been eating it. As a matter of fact, I just racheled a whole box of it! Now I'm very sick to my stomach, so I guess I won't be indulging in dairy any time soon.
  8. We don't buy most organic things because it's way too expensive. I mean, some things we do, but most things we don't. I guess we should, but when things are tight, the first thing to go is organic food.
  9. I agree, but sometimes there is a place for the boxed kind. It really serves its purpose.
  10. The organic white cheddar kind is the BEST!!! In a box from Trader Joe's and the cheese is gluten free, so I just throw away their pasta and use Tinkyada.
  11. It's really hard now to stay away from dairy because other than a little eye puffiness and darker than usual circles, I don't have any symptoms. I knew this would happen...once I started I wouldn't be able to stop. I think I'm going to have my mom throw all dairy away! It's definitely addictive, but it's not causing me any opiate-like effects...
  12. Joni, You might want to check Open Original Shared Link site.
  13. I personally don't buy anything from the bulk containers. I am too worried about CC. I think the only exception I make is sometimes Whole Foods has the ones where you pull the handle and stuff pours out. I won't use the scooper ones because people use the same scoop in flour and then put it in other foods like nuts, etc.
  14. Where did you buy it? I've been wanting to buy some water mist, but don't know where to look.
  15. Great news Donna! Very excited for you!!! Okay...I need a dairy intervention!!!! All I want to eat is DAIRY. Even though I am waking up with dark circles under my eyes and PALE skin, lol...I still want to eat it!
  16. When is the new site supposed to be launched? I am getting really impatient.
  17. Yea, I know this actually. They also are going to have me do a saliva test. I need to call them and ask about when I do that and how I get the test. LOL! It's possible. I think unfortunately my brother has ruined any chance of me getting anything, as ALL of the familly's money goes to him.
  18. I'm going to check the heat next time I'm in there! LOL! I can't imagine I stayed in there at 180 degrees! I believe it is a regular sauna. For now, I won't be purchasing a FIR sauna. Too much $$$$. So I'll make do with what I have access to.
  19. It gets up to 130?! OMG! I would DEFINITELY pass out! That's insane!!! :o I don't know what kind of sauna it is. How would I know?
  20. That's interesting, it may have helped. Carla, when you take a sauna how long does it take you to sweat?
  21. I took my first sauna and didn't pass out! I feel really fresh now. I don't know how else to explain it... Or maybe it was the nice cool shower I took afterwards, LOL!
  22. Yea, I know. LOL. It's just SO good to eat dairy. I don't mid being gluten and soy free, but dairy....ugh! I LOVE dairy! As of tomorrow I will stop eating it. In the meantime I had mac and cheese for lunch. Ahh, well it was nice to be normal for a little while. I didn't notice any change when I went dairy free a year ago. Absolutely...
  23. That's about what it is here in Los Angeles. Ugh, it's SO expensive!!!
  24. That'a really expensive! I am supposed to take 10 grams a day, and one jar holds 227 grams, so it doesn't last long. If it lasts you a couple months, that's not that bad. These supplements cost SO much money! Ever since my last appt. it just got way more expensive!
  25. LOL! I really wonder if I am sensitive to it. I have no symptoms today, other than just my normal herxing symptoms. Donna, Thanks. I have a really hard time taking things 30 minutes before food, lol. It's like, when I'm hungry, I eat. I don't like to wait. And, what brand do you use? Mine is $60 for 22 days! Ouch!
