    The Western Blot needs to be done through Open Original Shared Link. They will not bill your insurance, but you can sumbit a claim form to see if insurance will cover it.     I agree with everything Carla said. The virus she is talking about is the HHV-6 virus. I have it along with EBV. My LLMD is of the mindset that they are sticking around because the Lyme. Once we kill the Lyme, they will diminish. The problem with not using lab work or medical tests is that sometimes the Eastern Dr's can't really figure out what's going...

    Earthquakes are SO scary! We get them fairly often here and they scare me EVERY time! And 5.3 is a pretty good sized one! I cannot take multi vitamins. I probably should be taking one, but they upset my stomach WAY too much. Is it possible for you to take Vitamin D in a supplement on its own? The problem with multi vitamins is we don't know...

    OMG!!! I am getting NEW insurance!!! I was accepted!!!! :D This is perfect because my Mepron just went up to $800! :o I am going to need to take a break from the Mepron for a couple days until we get the new insurance. I will call Dr H to let him know to see if he has any objections to this. But OMG I am SOOO happy! YAY!!! Today is a GREAT...

    I am getting new carpetting in my room today!!! YAY! No more water damaged carpet! Wohoo! But the only problem is I have to be out of my room all day...ugh. I guess it's worth it though.     I get severely nauseous about 10 minutes after eating something with gluten. When I wasn't gluten free I would get stomach aches and major D. Now, not so much. My nausea lasts for about 1-2 weeks...and it's bad! I usually lose weight when I get glutened and also get moody/depressed/anxious.

    :ph34r: I have cult confession. :ph34r: I bought a brush from CVS today! How sad is that? LOL! I couldn't wait for EM to get the flat bursh back in....so I bought this one. It is SO soft that I was petting it as I drove home! Then I dropped it in the car...but was trying to get it out from underneath the seat....almost crashed my car! LOL!

    I was on Yaz for a while. I didn't have good luck with it...it didn't stop my bleeding. I went on it because my period wouldn't go away...and it still didn't when I was on the Yaz. I have very messed up periods, and have tried many pills. For me, we think my period problems are Lyme related.

    Colleen, I agree with Mango. It's like gluten, it can take a while to detox the body of dairy...much longer than gluten. When I went casein free, I didn't notice any really big changes, but when I tried milk chocolate once, I got a severe migraine the next day...so obviously it doesn't agree with me! I'd stick it out a little bit longer to see...

    I just checked out my notes about my symptoms, and it turns out that the headaches started before I stopped the ambien! Whew! I was so worried I had some sort of addiction, lol! Thank goodness for my Lyme Log.

    My brother had metal plates in his wrist/arm at one point, and since we were in Thailand when he broke it and needed surgery...we had to go through metal detectors and his arm set it off!
