ARCHIVED Yeast Infections And Gluten Intolerence
tammy replied to danikali's topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Yes I had this experience too> I can't stress it enough, watch what you eat and use a quality probiotic, daily. Once you are gluten-free for awhile... and are eating and drinking right you should begin to get better. But I found that the probiotic, acidophilus is very, important especially for women. GOOD LUCK! -

I want to use an easy but tasty apple crisp recipe for Thanksgiving this year. But I rather not buy the Gluten-Free Pantry mix. The ingredients in the mix look easy enough to make myself plus I was thinking of substituting fructose for sugar instead. Has anyone made a tasty, gluten-free apple crisp? THANKS!!! ...

ARCHIVED Any gluten-free Ice Creams
tammy posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I read the ingredients for the Turkey Hill Philadelphia Style Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. They SEEM to be gluten-free but until I can contact them, does anyone know if it is gluten-free? Also, Edy's Grand Vanilla SEEMS gluten-free but it is loaded with corn syrup, I rather stick with something easier on the body. Finally, what is the hype about Splenda... -
ARCHIVED When Do You React/how Soon?
tammy replied to CMCM's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
For me, it seems to be relatively consistent. If I accidently ingest gluten, even a tiny amount, I will have a subtle wheeze within about 20 minutes. Then my stool will be pencil thin for about a week. I don't remeber what I was like when I ate a whole slice of bread. I react to casein as well. I find that a little butter daily causes no reaction however... -
I had gluten-free dreams soon after my diagnosis. My dreams went something like this, I am about to eat a food with gluten in it and at the very last moment...stop and ask myself what am I about to do. My husband had similar dreams too. I haven't had one in over a year now. I want to commend you on your great courage and persistance in seeing yourself...

I too have chronic bladder infections according to my lab work but no symptoms. I have been on the gluten-free diet since December 2002!!!! Now, I am considering an ultrasoundbut wonder if I will always have this? -

I cook Thanksgiving Dinner so that my husband and I can eat it too! The family seems to enjoy the whole meal and we eat gluten-free! The more tasty, gluten-free foods that you can bring along helps as well as realizing that some foods can be gluten-free without them really trying.

I just purchased the herbal tea Dandelion Root. I like to use the brand Alvita. The ingredients stated Dandelion Root. So I purchased it. Seems gluten-free to me.
