Many years ago, there was a doctor who recommended never eating the same food within 5 days. Also recommended greens only 2X per week. Can't remember his name. Dx Celiac at age 87 by self as where I live in the northwest of Idaho, there is no medical insurance which covers Celiac disease or even will pay for tests!

Tylenol works fir me. Try fasting 16-24:)hours. A little chicken soup (home made). Soft boiled egg. My mother called them "coddled" eggs. She ate them fron a small drinking glass. Sorry if I misled you. I wasn't only concerned about gluten. Like some other Celiac people, especially those undiagnosed for many years, I have a cross reaction to salycillates. Even if no gluten in product, vegetable broth does contain salycillates. I may have reacted to salycillates but if gluten too, that is a double whammy! A woman in Australia tried...

Vegetable broth in canned fish. Found a brand of tuna that actually had water added, not vegetable broth and then they started adding the broth! Labels are misleading and recipes may be changed anytime. Be on guard constantly. I reacted to my "safe" brand and then read the label, now including veg broth.

I had skin test at an allergy clinic a few years ago. Everything was negative! Worthless! I feel much better on a restricted meat only diet. I am also sensitive to salycillates. Most modern ice cream is not salycillate free. Home nade is best.- 2 comments
