    Jason, I think you can do it . . . but you will have to speak up for yourself. You can be quitely assertive on your food requirements and then always pack back-up for when they screw it up.     Just to let you know how fast things change . . . I posted in that thread that Aunt Jemima was OK . . . since then, I was notified by clan Thomson that it is no longer considered gluten-free. Also, the only place I have found Log Cabin Country Kitchen is at Wal-Mart . . . even the ones that are NOT the Super-Wal-Marts.

    With that family history and her symptoms, I would definitely try the diet. I would also log symptoms and weight. Start off with listing all of her symptoms . . . how often she has a bowel movement and consistency, number of stomach ache complaints, and a starting weight and height. Then note the day you start you gluten-free diet, keep noting bowel movements...
