  1. Holy Cow!!!! I concur!! Run Forrest Tom Run!! I really like love the strikethrough feature.
  2. So yeah, yeah, yeah. . . all that lovey-dovey stuff . . . did you get your money back???? And yes, a Bravo to Sophie . . . how old is she again? I think you've got some financial conflicts here!!!! And yes Tom . . . John again? . . . absinthe again???
  3. Did we know this??? Kissey has a boy??? I think I remember most things, but I don't remember this. OK then . . . how old? Yes, Nikki, Happy Mother's Day!!! Did anyone turn your kitchen into a disaster area whilst making you some breakfast in bed??? Well, now you're just rubbing it in!!!
  4. Deb, I'm guessing you have other intolerances??? Here's the ingrediant list for Van's (Gluten Free): Water, Brown Rice Flour, Potato Starch, Rice Flour, Pear/Pineapple/Peach Sweetener, Canola Oil, Baking Powder (Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Monocalcium Phosphate), Salt, Soy Flour, Soy Lecithin, Guar Gum. My kids also like peanut...
  5. Forever Laughing Out Loud Flamboyantly?? I like Robert Duvall . . . perhaps not as much as Susie . . . not in "that way" . . . but I do usually enjoy him as an actor. You can't even see his face . . . tell him to get over it or Emily will print it out the av and stick it in a frame at WalMart. I think we have...

    ARCHIVED Ugh

Also check your can opener as a possible source of cc . . . most of them develop a ring of "buildup". I replaced mine. What brand of beans was it?
  7. . . . and a picture of somebody's forehead. . . Emily was that you?
  8. Woody Schmoody . . . I'm still on wedding stuff!!!! I cut and pasted the whole article . . . Wedding guests inevitably face the age-old question: What to give the bride and groom? If you're attending a wedding and thinking about anything that appears on the list below, please reconsider. Brides told us the worst wedding gifts they received...
  9. No . . . I have nothing to share . . . but look again. It wasn't a bridesmaid dress, it was a prom dress . . . and I'm not headed off to prom, either. Oh Yes!!!! Patti will look stunning!!! (just like that stunned swan)
  10. Hot Dogs - We use ballpark . . . it's part of Sara Lee. They do not hide the gluten so just read the label. I pass on this web site all the time. I think I've listed it in one of your threads but just in case (because, yes, my mind is going) here it is again: Open Original Shared Link Soy Sauce - LaChoy Pudding - Kraft (another company that...
  11. Well, after Emily went shopping for bridesmaid dresses, I decided I wanted to go to . . . haven't found anything better than what Emily has proposed but I did find Open Original Shared Link.
  12. Perfect!!! Blue is my best coloUr.
  13. Nikki!! Did you see this line: (The Minister's Donation is extra if the package is used as an official wedding.) So, do you think some people do it just for fun and NOT get married? . . . Well, that's just sacrilegious!!!!
  14. I'm thinking that maybe David's surprise is a quick trip to Las Vegas to tie the knot . . . in which case, the yeti should skip the tux and get himself an Open Original Shared Link.
  15. Jason, I think you can do it . . . but you will have to speak up for yourself. You can be quitely assertive on your food requirements and then always pack back-up for when they screw it up. You don't need to fill your clients in on all the details of your food intolerances but have a handy/witty/simple remark for when someone notices/asks. And don't eat...
  16. Just to let you know how fast things change . . . I posted in that thread that Aunt Jemima was OK . . . since then, I was notified by clan Thomson that it is no longer considered gluten-free. Also, the only place I have found Log Cabin Country Kitchen is at Wal-Mart . . . even the ones that are NOT the Super-Wal-Marts.
  17. Per Clan Thomson . . . Eggo is gluten free . . . Mrs Buttersworth is not.
  18. Amanda - Excellent!!! Never was a smoker . . . did you guess that? When I was a kid, my older brothers and sister used to sneek some smokes and teased me that I was just a kid. So one time when my little brother and I were lighting firecrackers with one of my dad's cigarettes (I just have to insert a note here . . . so where the hell was our...
  19. From my FIL . . . his was much prettier with lots of fonts and coloUrs and stuff . . . TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED the 1930's, 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's!! First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant. They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can, and didn't get tested for diabetes...
  20. No you weren't . . . Now, you want to talk young . . . Amanda and Alex, do you recall ever watching M*A*S*H??
  21. With that family history and her symptoms, I would definitely try the diet. I would also log symptoms and weight. Start off with listing all of her symptoms . . . how often she has a bowel movement and consistency, number of stomach ache complaints, and a starting weight and height. Then note the day you start you gluten-free diet, keep noting bowel movements...
  22. You know, I couldn't put my finger on it until I read this. Robbie was not my favoUrite. I thought he sang well but I just wasn't sure what it was about him. Now I think, maybe I wasn't buying into the Rocker Act . . . long hair and a bandana by itself does not a rocker make. Maybe the rocker voters sensed the discrepancy. I did like him better than...
  23. My first laugh out loud today . . . my silly seems to be on pause but am reading along. Had a new handyman team here today - husband and wife (I could NEVER work with my husband like that). They were wonderful!!!! I'm gonna keep 'em.
  24. But don't they have to be green? Check with The Ripper . . . are all accessories green?
