  1. OK, I see Patti is posting too (no HubbaHubba, though). . . let's see if we have the same answer . . . When you are in the posting mode window, at the upper right is a button with two (circular?) arrows on it. It toggles between standard and rich text editors. Try clicking that button.
  2. I was going to ask if it started when you "disable" something to fix your other problem. . . ? Emily! Please don't break the forum!
  3. Hi Susie . . . you've got some catchin' up to do. Hope you and Annie had a great weekend. Also hope you had some wee little fairies come whilst you were gone and do all your house cleaning so everything is sparkly clean for your return. Dang, I need me some of those.
  4. Well said, Carla.
  5. That's because Emily scared her off.
  6. THAT just might earn you a lifetime membership!
  7. Wow! Two days!! . . . don't go by your daughter's time frame, that's the one that is the exception. My daughter's took 10 days. My son's took one week. My husband's took two weeks (but I think that was because he went through his PCP and they had them back but didn't know it ) Also, don't wait to hear back from them, if it's been over a week, I...
  8. After you go back in and put the seat down!!
  9. Julie - we all know you NEED a dog!!! Take the dog. Do a spectacular makeover using your new EM and make him look like a substandard poodle. This will also require brushing his teeth with some tri-headed contraption from Peter. If possible, teach him to bark with an accent (Le Bark). Tell the neighbors "No, I haven't seen your dog. I'm sure he'll end...
  10. Tell them that by doing a little research on your own, you thought it was worth trying a gluten-free diet and your symptoms have improved/dissappeared. It's not like they can make you eat gluten. They don't have to like it . . . however, their reaction may determine if you want to stay with them or not. Hopefully, they will be willing to listen to your...
  11. Oracle Peter, who knows all things . . . answer me this: Why can't my son wear a pair of jeans for more than one day . . . even if he had them on for only an hour or two? . . . but he'll wear the same pair of underwear and socks for a week if I don't tell him to change them????
  12. . . . and then Emily, who never pretended to have restraint, said this . . . . . . and I respond with They make pills for that, don't they?
  13. Colleen says this . . . . . . and three posts later, Tom says this . . . Yeah, I knew it wouldn't last.
  14. Too many quotes . . . this is going to take forever! Yes! I thought this, too, but needed to wait to hear she's fine . . . Thank Goodness!! There was a commercial at one point (probably beer), anybody remember it . . . they always pick MaryAnn . . . plus she makes a mean coconut cream pie! Tis true. I got hit in...
  15. Everyone was shocked when my daughter's blood test came back positive. I can't tell you how many times I heard the phrase "She doesn't look like she has Celiac disease." My daughter's PedGI said that when he first started (not that long ago), they used to see about three kids a year with distended bellies and skinny limbs. You look at them and say they...
  16. One of my favoUrite all time movies . . . Saaaaay, would you trade Richard for a nice shrubbery . . . one that looks nice . . . and not too expensive?
  17. I went back and researched this a little and apparently some people have no problem with Grey Goose and some people do. If you had soy sauce, that's almost a guarantee that it had wheat . . . Did your allergist do only scratch testing? Did your other doc do RAST testing (bloodwork) or was it a celiac panel? The RAST testing is suppose to be better...
  18. Lisa, This is the thread she is talking about Open Original Shared Link Her first two posts were originally in two different threads. I answered in each thread. And then when I went to go back and answer a follow-up question, everything was combined. Don't know if it's even possible to separate at this point. I didn't answer in the combined thread...
  19. Blondebombshell!!!! I thought my computer was acting up!!! I think maybe when the moderator pinned it, he/she thought it was a double post but since I already had already responded in both topics, they combined them . . .I don't know if they can separate them again . . . HELP . . . WE NEED A MODERATOR HERE!!!!!!
  20. How long were you on the antibiotics . . . long term use of antibiotics can cause an imbalance in your gut. The antibiotics will also kill of your good gut bacteria. You may want to check out probiotics. Definitely do some research, though . . . I am by no means up to par on this stuff. I am in the middle of researching probiotics for my daughter as we...
  21. My husband recieved a bottle of Grey Goose for Christmas . . . on the back in real big letters it says . . . DISTILLED FROM FRENCH WHEAT.
  22. African or European? If you know both, than that would make you an expert . . . a swollowologist. Tis true . . . we do embody a certain juvenile intellectual humoUr. Tom, did you hear that . . . Colleen mentioned Jerry Springer . . . you know what that means? Won't be long and they'll be flashin' their assets over on the EM thread...
  23. Oh . . . and here I was going to say it was a bloodless coup.
  24. Uhhh, nooooo, I think you did just fine . . . we're funnier now, eh? And slimmer! Frown Lines??!!! On this thread???!!! . . . Those would be laugh lines, Nikki, and those are to be treasured!!!<Plus, I tried F5 and it didn't work. Will require more magic than F5> Nice new highlights, Amanda!! OK . . . obviously, we are back...
  25. Margaret, do you think he would eat a peanut butter cookie? I think I've seen this recipe on the board, too, getting rave reviews. It has a fair amount of sugar but most kids are eating a bunch of jelly when they are having their peanut butter and the egg gives it a bit more protein . . . may be worth a try. Open Original Shared Link (three ingredients...
