  1. hmmmmm, I might have missed it, but I don't recall any previous conversations about pizza. I'm one of five. Even though my younger brother and I argued a lot, we were the two youngest. At times, it was necessary to team up. Talk about unsupervised . . . I think the phrase "You're not the boss of me! " started at our house.
  2. Wow, Snowball has got him some rhythm! And I had to go look (I'm a softy when it comes to animals), he has been adopted. OK, SueZee, we are expecting to hear from you today. Light, I have a DLB, too. We couldn't stand each other until we both had moved out. Just me being gone wasn't good enough because he was such a sloth and took terrible advantage...
  3. Just looked at this link after I posted - yes, yes, yes . . . I would try this since I wing it a lot in the kitchen and don't acutually have quantities/measurements for you (I get that from my mother).
  4. My first time making my chicken & rice casserole without being able to use my beloved campbell's soup . . . I used Health Valley. I absoutely did not like it. It did not smell right to me and you know how much smell influences taste. I could not get past it and have not bought it since. Now I make may own . . . butter & flour mixed with better...
  5. Awwww, Susie, sorry to hear you out of commission. If you brought home a dingo(doggy) bag from the restaraunt last night . . . THROW IT OUT. . . and don't pull a Constanza and go rumaging after it in the trash bin later! . . . Oh, I know you would NEVER do that! Hope you're feeling better soon.
  6. Just got back from Maggie Moos for an ice cream treat. The visit itself was a treat. They had ingredient cards on hand. They scooped with clean scoops from unopened containers in the back. They got toppings from their closed containers in the back also. All without asking!! We told them our children could not have WRBO and the process started on its...
  7. Lexie, Your posts are still there. They have not been pinned by a board moderator yet. Since someone has posted in those areas on a pinned thread, your post actually drops to the last page (or pages . . . I think your leaky gut one was on the 3rd to last page because of all the posts that have been moved). When a moderator reviews it and pins it, it...
  8. The glutenfreemall sells gluten free ice cream cones. I've never had them so I don't know if they are any good.
  9. You need to type your message and then select/highlight the word or words that you want to change. You can then change the font or color, make it bold, etc. The words that you change will be bracketed with the change [ color = #]words that are selected If you hit the preview post button, you will see what your post will look like and know if it...
  10. Miralax is not suppose to create any type of dependency. My daughter is currently on it. I had a friend whose daughter was on it for a couple of months and transitioned off of it without any problems.
  11. Whenever you give blood (at least in the states), they check your iron before you are approved to donate. That's the test where they prick your finger, siphon a few drops and drop it in a vial with some kind of fluid. Your blood's got to sink - otherwise, it doesn't have enough iron. If it doesn't sink, they turn you down. At least that's they way they...
  12. I thought the next line was going to be: Where's Tom? Sorry Tom, it wasn't me . . . Emily started it.
  13. Yeah, me too, they were a size bigger than this time last year, though . . . that's what marshmallows do to you. Too Much is not good either. I can't find a swim suit that I don't burst out of . . . not the image I want . . . doesn't go with the rest of the over 40, had two kids, eat too many marshmallows body. And I DON'T WANT a striped...
  14. You know, a little wine might help the whine. Kind of like WD-40 for moms.
  15. Well, although it's nice to have moral support . . . it's just not enough to keep the girls in their proper position.
  16. I believe you are correct that you are showing an IgA deficiency and I think that means that the results for your other IgA tests are not subject to the labs usual test ranges.
  17. No . . . I don't think so . . . not enough support .
  18. Light, just had myself a bowl of marshmallows. Actually, its minimarshmallows, with milk chocolate chips, nuked for about 20 seconds, then throw some (gluten-free) crsipy rice cereal on top and eat with a spoon. It's a cross between a rice crispy treat and a s'more in a bowl. Mmmmmm . . . and I don't share!
  19. Richard!! Look at the time you posted! You know RG shows up around 3:00pm (est) !!! What happened? Are you (out of Emerald) Nuts?
  20. Wthrman, Just wanted to tell you about my husband's swallowing issue. It sounds exactly what you described. It was almost always meat. It would stick in his esophagus and not allow anything else to pass. It was never an issue of choking. He would have to lay down until the food either passed or came back up. At one point, after a couple of hours...
  21. Hmmmm . . . do we know how old the photo is? I look ten years younger, too, when I use a photo from ten years ago.
  22. Oh, and two thumbs up for School House Rock. One of my faves from kidhood. I just got the DVD for my kids a couple of months ago. My favorite was/is Open Original Shared Link
  23. Nay, Nay, quite excellent, I say. (That actually sounds more like Dr. Seuss) Plus, the goat had it coming.
  24. I'm not sure how cross contamination figures into a gluten free diet for someone with autism, but cc is a major issue for celiacs. Wheat or gluten flour flying about the kitchen (Ok, more like floating, but it does poof up and go everywhere) can pose a cc risk for everything else you do. That being said, I bake gluten-free for my daughter. I have done...
  25. Susie, already seen it!!!! Ha Ha Ha!!! Let me tell you what happens . . .
