  1. Hehehehe . . . Were you surprised to see me? To fill everyone in, I used Tom's "how to increase your post count" suggestion against him on the OMG thread. Hehehe. So did you know that from the beginning or did you just figure it out? Emily, I'm now picturing your car with an answering machine, coffee pot, ficus plant, and a minifridge...
  2. Jin, thank you for welcoming me to Rachelville. However, I am here only briefly. My post was merely an overflow from the Silly's thread. I needed to post a ". . . . hmmmmm interesting" after one of Tom's post and I knew he posted here frequently (ummmm, not that I'm stalking him or anything . . .) I was hoping to slip in and out without being noticed...
  3. . . . hmmm interesting. Hey Tom, you're right. That works great.
  4. I have a friend whose husband sent her "Happy 40th" and "Over the Hill" balloons at work on her 39th birthday. So no one would believe her when she tried to tell them she was only 39. And to clarify, since we ARE talking about a guy, he did actually know it was her 39th birthday. I'm 43 . . . I don't have a problem telling people, it's just sometimes...
  5. Planting wild strawberries . . . isn't that an oxymoron?
  6. But "embarrassingly dark" will go fantabulously with the orange skin that you so desire. (I would recommend an overuse of sunless tanning products to achieve this goal). Thank goodness you did not attempt orange skin with the orange hair. If they were two different color of oranges, it would have clashed hideously.
  7. Subject: The Rooster John, the Wellton farmer was in the fertilized egg business. He had several hundred young layers (hens), called "pullets" and eight or ten roosters, whose job was to fertilize the eggs. The farmer kept records and any rooster that didn't perform went into the soup pot and was replaced. That took an awful lot of...
  8. Oh, SuuuuuuuZeeeee . . . Times up. What color and geometrical shape is your hair, now?
  9. Well, over the weekend, I was researching for a friend who's son was just diagnosed with wheat, corn, soy and yeast allergies. He also reacted to milk and eggs but not as severly. So here is some of the info I sent her (some of these, you probably already use) Tinkyada pasta Rice cakes Amaranth Crackers Holgrain rice crackers - they have no taste...
  10. Texasblue, I think both options 2 & 4 sound like good possibilities. I can't talk too much about 2, but if she was on a lot of antibiotics when she was younger, there may be something to your theory of a bacterial imbalance. Hopefully, someone who has experience with that will address that option. We are currently doing a trial gluten-free diet...
  11. gigglegiggle carburator float chamber gigglegiggle
  12. Who won? (Look, another post under my belt. If I hadn't added this comment, it would have only been two words. Hehehe. I'll be in that speeeecial club in no time.)
  13. Ohhhhh . . . a special club, huh ? Is there a secret handshake? a password? a knowing look? OK, anybody mind if I post about 350 of the exact same message so I can get into the club?
  14. Well, I had to change my avatar. I just could not bear to look at Susie's hair style one more minute! Plus, I do believe, the next time that we <virtually> see her, she should have had her hair "do-over". My new av is my son's self-portrait. Thank goodness for digital cameras, we don't have to pay for film or developing on the majority...
  15. Waaaaay back on pg 157, I admitted/revealed/announced that I was right-handed. But you were probably too distracted by the witty math repartee. Nobody even commented on the goat. (Now, is that going to send you back to find out wth I'm talking about?)
  16. Something from my mom . . . some of the things she sends me are good . . . some are SPAM. "Airlines Announcements" All too rarely, airline attendants make an effort to make the in flight "safety lecture" and announcements a bit more entertaining. Here are some real examples that have been heard or reported (Personally, I doubt this )...
  17. My daughter has the circles, too. Some days are better than others. I have a sneaking suspition that it's environmental. And . . . I have a fear that it might be the dog. We are going to try some otc zyrtec or claritan for kids - if they make it. FYI, benedryl doesn't guarentee gluten-free (saw that on another thread but don't remember which).
  18. Iams and Eukenuba (dry dog food) are gluten free. I don't know if those are the ones you were talking about. They are more expensive than say Ol' Roy, but you can get them at Wal-Mart and Target as oppose to the vets office or a pet store. We have been on Iams since we went through our first bag of "cheap" dog food and complained to the vet about how much...
  19. You gotta figure . . . on all my other posts on the other threads, people have got to be thinking . . . WTH is that in her avatar!
  20. Really??? . . . Invert it??? . . . That doesn't seem right at all!
  21. Open Original Shared Link she is!!! Or rather . . . her new hairstyle.
  22. From my brother last year BTW how do you embed a link into one word?
  23. Shiver me timbers, you're right!! Usually my (aforementioned, lefty) brother makes sure the whole family knows - he's slipping - must be too much rum. Arrrgh!
  24. In my own delusional world - they think I'm pondering dinner alternatives. In reality, they are probably thinking . . . there she goes again, now there won't be any chips (or crisps) for our lunch boxes.
