  1. Wouldn't Jack Daniels be a problem?
  2. I found this online the other day and ordered it. I must be losing my mind to be ordering things off of the internet but I would like to kill this candida by any means necessary. MMS is chlorine dioxide I believe. I don't want anyone thinking I am promoting this stuff so please do a quick search and tell me what you think before I take it and end up wishing...
  3. My candida came bacck over the best several days. I thought I had it under control but apparently not. I am able to control it within a couple of days with anti fungals and strict diet but now I feel like I'm standing in the middle of the road waiting to get run over again. Give me some ideas about where to look for the underlying cause of this please. I...
  4. Do you react differently to the tap water upstairs than you do downstairs? The reason I ask is because I am trying to figure something out at my house. I have a well. I have an expensive filtration system. The only water in the house that smells or is discolored is the upstairs cold water. It smells like sulphur and is tinted brown. Downstairs sources...
  5. very interesting. thanks for posting. I was under the impression that stool should be dark brown. If light in color it pointed towards candida overgrowth. Yellow is the color of candida when it comes out during colon hydrotherapy. The more I learn it seems the less I know:)
  6. I bought cultured vegetables, sprouted nut/seed granola and young coconut kefir water in two different flavors all from a woman in New Hampshire. I had to meet her in the parking lot of a CVS because her development doesn't allow her to run a business out of it. It was like buying pot in high school or something, not that I've ever done that of course. ...
  7. Who has read this book or knows anything about it. I saw a woman last week who treats candida with colon hydrotherapy. She pretty much demanded that I read the book and start doing the diet because in her words it is the only diet she has found that helps her patients over the hump. (If you want to know about colon hydrotherapy pm me and I will share it privately...

    ARCHIVED Antibiotics

Thanks for the reply. I swam yesterday and although I had some light stomach pain I was OK. I spent 20 minutes in the sauna right after swimming and I took an Epsom Salt bath later in the day. I definitely had a regrowth of candida last week but I was able to starve it and get rid of it. I have an appointment with a woman and a garden hose tomorrow....

    ARCHIVED Antibiotics

You are like a knowledge machine. Better than google. My water is from a well and is filtered a number of times so no chlorine or flouride for that matter. The YMCA has added UV to reduce the amount of chlorine but it is still high. Are there studies about pool water or just municipal drinking water. I would like some more info on how or why the...

    ARCHIVED Antibiotics

I think the antibiotics kill the yeast too don't they? The real reason I ask this is because I think the chlorine in the Y pool I swim at does the same thing. I swallow enough of it over an hour and a half that I think it kills some or all of my gut flora and fauna. I started swimming again last Sunday. Until then my BM's have been perfect and my intestines...

    ARCHIVED Antibiotics

So when I read about someone doing well on their anti-fungal diet that now has to take antibiotics for some reason it's not necessarily a problem unless you change your diet back to sugary foods and or don't encourage the re-population of good bacteria, is this correct?
  12. If taking antibiotics kills the "good" bacteria doesn't it also kill the candida? If it does kill both then is the problem with antibiotics that the bad repopulate more easily than the good or am I missing something?
  13. ML When I first realized gluten was a problem for me and my conditions improved after having gone gluten free I was like an Evangelist singing the praises of the gluten-free lifestyle. After suffering with fatigue and continued occassional bowel problems I went to a Functional Medicine specialist. He was the one who did a saliva test and discovered that...
  14. www.know-the-cause.com I just found this website after doing some research on Leukemia and it's relationship to fungal infections. I thought some of you might find it interesting and informative. I have no affiliation with this site. Let me know if this is inappropriate... Ken
  15. I have made specific recommendations to at least two people as a result of your posts. One of them is being tested for several things including heavy metal toxicity as we speak. She wouldn't listen to me or read anything I gave her but she was fortunate to come in to contact with a doctor that really seems to understand the human body the way many of us here...
  16. Of all the people on this forum I have found your posts to be the most informative. I'm not sure what you do for a living but I think you would make a great doctor. Just a thought
  17. Add me to the list of lifelong carsick guys. I don't get sick when driving but when a passenger. I am also a boater and in the past unless I was driving an open boat and concentrating on the horizon in calm seas I would also get very seasick. This summer after quiting gluten I went fishing well offshore for tuna. The seas built to more than six feet...
  18. I think you are right on about the caprylic acid killing the yeast and then causing the skin reaction. Maybe he can get tested to see if he really is having an immune reaction to the coconut. I am eating coconut oil by the spoon full. I rather like the taste now but at first it made me gag. Its like eating straight cold animal fat that tastes like coconut...
  19. One more thing - There is no reason you couldn't order the tests direct from the company and interpret them yourself. The read much like the Enterolab results with your result compared to a normal range. Anything abnormal gets singled out in bold type. I'm not sure what you would do though if your Creatine level was a little high or your thyroid needed help...
  20. His website is www.doctorbannock.com The tests were around $600. His helping me with the tests cost another $350. I think his website now says $380. When does this f*&^%ing headache go away. I'm dying from it. Is Advil OK to take on the Candida diet?
  21. Go for it! The spiritual thing could be fun. I'm going to an acupuncturist on Thursday as a little extra insurance. I went to a tanning booth last week and got burned Thought I might be suffering from SAD. I'm leaving no stone unturned until I feel better than perfect!
  22. I had blood drawn and seperated at a local hospital. The urine and saliva were put into vials form a kit that was sent to me. All 3 kits were sent to a lab that I paid directly. He recieved the results and sent them to me. I will list the headings for the screenings that I see on the results Renal Function / Electrolyte Screen Liver Function Screen Bone...
  23. She's a he actually. You are lucky to live nearby. I am in Massachusetts so I have done it all over the phone and email. Be sure to report your experience here please. I would really like to know what he tells you to do. Keep in mind the costs. He is $350 for a one hour consultation which is all I have used so far. The saliva, urine and blood tests were around...
  24. You could always try the functional medicine guy I went to. Many people go to him for weight loss. His food guide has the feel of the blood type diet but he says the BTD is a total farce. Through blood, urine, and saliva he can tell you many things about what foods you should and shouldn't eat. They will be in line with your candida and gluten problems (assuming...
  25. Thanks. I lost 30 pounds from going gluten free and have already lost an additional 6 pounds from going completely sugar and carb free. I am at 194 and hope I don't loose any more. My FM doctor has me on 3 months of this diet with an additional 6 months of a slightly altered diet. He says it is all about convincing the immune system that everything is...
