  3. Just remember to decrease your fat content if using a regular recipe. Made that mistake once and it puffed up and spread out up and over the sides of my cookie sheet!! My recipe is: 1c pamela's 1/4c melted butter (usually it's 1/2c butter) 1/4c sugar
  4. Thanks, And, I want snow this weekend. Lots and lots of snow so that I cannot leave my house at all and I am forced to stay inside and bake millions of cookies with my kids! Normally thy don't start that early here either. It's the end of phase 1. She had an expander to fix a crossbite (which they like to fix before age 8 while the...
  5. I'm sooooo sorry you're going though this. I got it when I was a kid, obscenely thick hair down to me waist--not for long, got it all chopped Then I was a preschool teacher through college and I got it from a little girl in my classroom whose parents never treated their kids' hair and they kept getting it over and over until finally they shaved all 3...
  6. How are you this morning? I have all this extra skin that I'm too aftraid to have cut off, so it hangs over my pants, it looks like there was too much liquid in my muffin mix I was laying on my side the other day and my ds saw my belly, he looked shocked and said "what is that?" I said it was my belly button. He didn't look convinced...

  9. Sounds perfect! Hubby's Christmas party starts at 6, so the timing's right, plus, it's usually soooo boring that drinking fast will make the evening more interesting. I decided on an overtly sexy dress this time, so we'll see how bad I can embarass meselph
  10. I think I'm going to take our Christmas pic as usual and instead of sending it out, I will post on da book for my friends and familia to enjoy and print out if they wish! Praying Madeleine will get her braces off Monday so I can do it next week!!

  12. I buy either Darigold or Horizon organic eggnog. I know the Darigold specifically says gluten-free on the carton. Plus, neither has any HFCS or any of that other crap
  13. We are with no issues. I read each box carefully though, since some stores still have the older boxes.
  14. Pheel better soooon!!!! Lotsa rest and liquids!!
  15. His name's Monty, one of the nicest people you'll ever meet!
  16. With the right recipe it works pretty well actually, but I roll the dough between parchment paper, sticks less
  17. I think it was on GMA too, admin emailed us all a link to Charlie Gibson talking about it on the nightly news. We're both right
  18. I've tried to make this a few times and I can't get the layers to stick together, it looks great until you bite into it and then the white chocolate pops off the dark chocolate
  19. Breast cancer awareness Check this out, you may have seen a bit of it on the ABC nightly news the other night. It's my hospital!! I work with all the guys in the OR clips Catchy tune!
  20. I make about every kind of cookie you can think of. I do use Pamela's pancake/baking mix for a lot of my recipes, but I can convert just about any recipe so if there's something you have in mind, let me know and I'll get you the info you need!
  21. There are so many of us in our family with aunties, uncles, and cousins-and now everyone is gettin serious boyfriends/girlfriends/fiances, that there are too many peeps to buy for that we draw names 2 months before Christmas and we have a cap on how much you can spend. It makes it sooooo much easier. I give my kids "the talk" in November about what Christmas...
  22. I use almond milk or rice milk at home (I prefer the almond). There are a lot of family owned/local coffee shops here in Portland who have rice as an alternative, you just have to ask.
  23. I say, "Thank you so much for everything, I had a wonderful time!" Pretty much covers all bases
  24. I agree with Lisa. It took me longer to totally get the hang of it, but I didn't have all these wonderful people to talk with for a year and a half after my dd was diagnosed! Thank God for this forum and all these wonderful people!! Our household is about 98% gluten-free. It's so much easier that way, little to no risk of CC. My son was diagnosed when...
  25. Nooooo!! If there was any way I could hide it from the hubby, I'd go see it a 3rd and maybe a 4th.... Doesn't matter, I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD and will hide it in my gym. I'll be on the treadmill nonstop!!
