    I stutter and I have not found a difference with my fluency on the gluten free diet. I wish I did. My only noticeable symptoms to gluten are DH. I do think it is entirely possible that your speech can be affected by gluten. They are currently doing a medical trial on a drug for stuttering.     I have not heard of this in the beginning of pregnancy. When I was pregnant with my first I could hardly walk during the last month because of joint pain.     Mine was mostly painless. They numb the area with a shot and then take a tiny piece of skin next to the blister (not on the blister). Then a lab looks for IgA deposits.

    I would take your child to the pediatrician and get him/her a skin biopsy at a dermatologist ASAP.     I am a proud stay at home mom to two boys- a 2 1/2 year old and a 9 month old. I was a 4th grade teacher in downtown Los Angeles and I plan to go back when my youngest is in school. I LOVE TEACHING and I couldn't imagine doing any other job. As I see it now I am still a teacher I just have 2 students instead of 30. Meredith

    I know I have celiac. I was just wondering if there are episodes of that come and go. As I said I generally don't have GI symptoms but right around the time the celiac "turned on" I had this terrible GI episode that went away.     I guess some of them look kinda like zits but the fluid is like water. Some of mine are blisters and some are like hives...I guess I may have hives too. They itch like crazy.

    I don't trust McDonalds fries. They didn't even admit to adding beef flavoring (which also has wheat) till recently. I would be nervous about the wheat in the flavoring as well as CC from the other breaded products that are fried there.
