  1. I don't like that site to much because they only have a handful of states. Why are there none for each major city? I don't get why they list some for New England and nome for the NW but that't it. I am in Atlanta and know there must be some places here to eat. Maybe I will contact them directly.
  2. I really hope someone has a recipe because I have been wanting these and know can be done glutenfree but how? I have asked firneds and relatives who cool a lot an no luck. 3. I am not sure about vegan but Open Original Shared Link Open Original Shared Link they're vegetarian links a friend gave me whe I was asking about going veggie. If I can find vegan glutenfree products I buy them over anything else. So, there are some out there but I don't see them too often. I am sorry I can't offer anything else. But, I think you should...
  4. I forget the exact thing I took (this was over a year ago) but it was of Tylenal brand. I would take it sometimes for other things and get sick so I stopped taking it except when I had my period because of the bad cramps I needed something for the pain even if it made me sick. Then when i was diagnosed I knew why it made me sick so I haven't taken it since...
  5. I have both migranes and other symptoms. If I think back to when the biggest and worst ones came they were all after doing stuff I usually didn't do and with gluten (which I didn't know then) containing things. So, I do think that gluten is one of my migrane triggors.
  6. I noticed it was worse around my persiod before I found out about my Celiacs because I was taking gluten containing pain meds. Now, it still happens more so too but I am taking the right pain releavers. I think it has to do with the hormones, stress, and such. I am kind of glad I am not the only one.
  7. Hello! I used to get cravings and sometimes do when I can mell certian food. but there are many yummie treats that are glutenfree. 11. Going glutenfree does cause lots of emotional twists from me personally. Depending on what I eat and all I can feel real down and all. Though, usually once I balance eberything out on my diet I do pretty good. If I think about it I do get more pissy and down when I have a lot of dairy. I think it just depends on you. I know at first I was real down and...

  14. Hello! I will try and answer the ones I can. I think I will learn some things from this thread, rar! 2) It would be best to buy cookware, utensils, etc.. to be used only with gluten-free products? I have my own toaster and wash the common things (big knives, tongs, and such) before using them. 3) In a non-gluten-free household, would it cause...
  15. I think catfish has the idea. I was saying that I looked all in this section and its all talk about "baked goods"- meaning desserts, treats, and all that jazz. I am wanting what catfish posted, meals. I have the dessert and sweets bit down it's just a lack of idae for regular meals- lunch/dinner. Oh, I like the idea of using stuff in meals that are already...
  16. Hi! I have looked throuh this section and am looking for things other than baking recipes. I am getting bored with what I am eating (lots of rice pasta) and eggs. Any favourites?
  17. Before being diagnosed I was a very out there person, even when sick. I was in High School and did all the water sports, never missed a day of school, and went out to many concerts. I was always sick but just had to stop to the bathroom or take something for the symptoms and all (but figured I was normal). Then, once I found out and went glutenfree I changed...

  19. I am going to lok at UTZ now! I ate Lays for yrs and after going gluten free I still ate them and wasn't feeling so well. I stopped eating them and feel much better the same with fritos. They say they are made on the same lines as gluten food, too. So, I fugure that's why they made me feel not so good. I hadn't seen Cape Cod ones anywhere but today at...
  20. Hi. It really takes awhile to gt used to this. I have been at it for over a year and am still learning new things everyday. Lately, my eyes have been itchy and I found out there is gluten in it so now I need to find glutenfree eyeliner! Gluten is everywhere and you'll learn to deal with it. You can still drink, just go for the "girly" ones, vodka is...
  21. When I told a new friend that I had Celiacs she said "Oh, you must be of Irish decent." I told her I had some Irish in my background and asked her why she would know that. She told me that she knew people with it and about how people with Irish backgrounds having it more ofter and such. I don't really remember all she said about it though. So, it's funny...
