  5. A week is not that long to try for especially since the beinging is filled with mistakes and learning! You'll get a hang of the diet. I hope your daughter starts feeling better soon.

I have been glutenfree for about a year and a half and my family didn't do anything but pay for my food and such. . .my brother did eat my food when they were sweets and treats. . .now that my Mom and brother are diagnosed they have cleaned out almost everything and replaced it with glutenfree. My Dad doesn't touch anything glutenfree though. It pisses...
  8. I never thought gluten would cause anaphylactic shock but we can have severe reactions and I would like it known that I have reactions to gluten and such. . . Then again, it's up to everyone.
  9. I never knew BK charged more. . .my brother gets McDs burgers a lot with no bun and they never charge him anything more.
  10. I am 19 and wear one for demerol and am in the process of adding my celiac information to it. Just beacuse you don't have a servere reaction to it usually doesn't mean it can't happen. It's a good idea for everyone to think about wearing one, not just children.

  12. If his teachers are talking about it in class. . .do they know he has a promblem? If they do know of his celiacs then I belive they aren't allowed to disscuss it or his problem in class even if everyoe knows. If you fear he won't graduate then leaving the same group of kids for the last half of the year to attend a more understanding school should not be...
  13. My Mom has it. . .my brother has it. . .and I have it. I have a grandmother getting tested and am advising an Aunt to, as well.
  14. The diet may help with his moods, too. He can't just not do the diet. . .it's damaging him. What if you serve him glutenfree pasta (nd food) without telling him it is different. I sereve people all the time glutenfree food and they don't' know that's what it is.

  17. NYC is special and has places for Celiacs to eat. My brother eats at McDonals at least 3 times a week and is fine. I feel very confideent in their fryers since they don't use them for anything esle. . .and why would they. . . They don't have to know about celiacs or wheat to be glutenfree.

  20. I started using goats milk and it has been going well but then early this week I used cows milk and whoa my body was not happy. I stopped eatching cheese and stuff, too. It's frustrating.

  22. Maybe they haven't thought about there being gluten there. People stop drinking beer and other such "bad" habits when they go glutenfree. So, just to say they probably will continue to do since they haven't stopped by now (or smoke it at all) is way off, I think. If it's found that smoking pot is full of gluten they may stop.   23. Sometimes during holidays and such when they do special ones they change things around. . .that's why I was saying to be careful.
