  1. Hello, Judy! You should have lots of useful information for us! I'm Kristina and I am rather young and have been on the diet for just over a year now, yay!
  2. I was looking through old threads for information and these links come up as not found! Any help? EDIT Eep, nevermind, sorry. EDIT
  3. Oh, I am digging that Stake and Shake link, thanks!
  4. Thank you for that list. It is really helpful.
  5. You should try some of their other products for your son. I am sure he'd love them. I stopped getting the bread and just stick with the english muffins and slice them up and toast them for everything. Their bageled are pretty yummie, too. I always buy a bunch of their products then freeze them.
  6. Kinnikinnick is my favourite brand. The cinnamon buns, cinnamon and sugar donuts, and english muffins are all great!
  7. Do you buy frozen hashbrowns or make them from home? If you buy them whih brand do you get? Kristina
  8. I just bought some Neutrogena face wash and body wash and all that jazz because I thought it was gluten-free, so I should take it back (I havet opened them yet)? Kristina
  9. Well, my doctor said there was no need to the biopsy since the blood work on me said celiacs and the diet works. So, if she is going on the diet and better I too don't see the need for the procedure. If she isn't better then I would get it done. Kristina
  10. That's very helpful! I am so excited. I never like to eat out but hopefully can enjoy the city. Last time I basically ate only apples and plain fish. So, this should be good!
  11. She is going to have to realize it herself that she can't be cheating. Doesn't it make her feel awful? I never cheat but sometimes get some by accident and it is hell. Maybe she needs to learn about the damage occuring to her insides even if she is "symptom free" other than the moodswings. Kristina
  12. Good stuff, I will check them out!
  13. I do the veggie celiacs thing, too. Though, you said that didn't matter but I thought I'd share anyway. Hi! Kristina
  14. Stamps are a no no? I just licked some yesterday and I thought maybe I shouldn't so I tried the thumb thing and they wouldn't stick so I just licked them, eek. So, I should avoid that next time?
  15. I don't know about healthy things but here are some stuff make. Fried shrimp using rice flour (you can do chicken strips, too), I like to use Kinnikinnick english muffins and toast them and eat tons of egg sandwiches with lettuce and cheese and toppings, wow these really aren't recipes, hmmm, I can't think now but I hoped I helped. Oh, you can always do...
  16. Northern, Georgia is where I live, though, I am not from here.
  17. I am a potter and I have never heard of gluten in clay! Though, I am talking about clay clay and not the little packets of modeling clay and such from the store. I always where gloves, eye protection, and a breathing mask when mixing the chemicals for glazes, though. Play-doh is not say, don't play with it! It is not in any glue I have used. . .maybe...
  18. Thank you guys for your help! I am glad to not be the only one doing this. Okay!
  19. Okay, I tried doing a search and didn't see anything where there was stuff about this. I recently have decided to stop eating chicken (I never ate red meat anyway) and was told that protien loss will be really bad. I can't have soy but I can eat eggs. What are other vegetarians eating to stay healthy? I don't want to become weak but I can't bring myself...
  20. I have always been told to avoid hydrolyzed soy, so I do.
  21. That is really weird. Hoepfully he will calm down some by going gluten-free, too. Kristina
  22. I have bad reactions to a lot of soy products but most that say gluten free and contain soy are okay for me. I try to avoid it all together. Maybe, you should try the same. Good luck! Kristina
  23. I go to a therapist and take anti-anxiety medication. I did notice while I was on spring break that I had only one nightmare. Then, when classes started back up I had them again. I think it is all related to the anxiety I feel about going to classes and such. I am glad to know I am not the only one with the nightmares but that also saddens me that we...
  24. Hello, is anyone else having problems with nightmares. This past year of me being gluten-free I have had nightmares almost everynight. Sometimes they are so bad I stay up and try not to sleep. I think it has to do with the anxiety I am dealing with about worrying that I will be sick again liek I used to be before going gluten-free. I just am curious if...
  25. Celiacs is a genetic disease so there is no way he is to blame for you having it. If he is feeling this bad maybe going gluten-free would ease his feelings. I have friends who want to try my food but I wouldn never want them to go gluten-free if they don't have to. Talk to him and let him know to lighten up and that this is your new way of life. It is...
