  1. I had difficulty with some B12 due to artificial sweeteners such as sorbitol, etc...(anything with a 'tol' at the end. They would upset my digestive system for 3 days each time. Now I use Natural Factors brand. It was difficult to find sublingual, gluten free, artificial sweetner free in the Methylcobalamin form of B12.
  2. I saw it! The man says something like "they think I have Celiac and that I'm eating too much gluten. I didn't even know I was eating "GLUTEN". (he said gluten kind of sarcastically)
  3. Hello, Thank you for letting us know about these choices! I had just found out about ZPizza in Upland, CA. (and Redlands too, although I haven't looked into it and it sounds as if not all the branches have gluten-free pizza. ). I didn't know about Ciao Bella, sounds good! Have you been to Pizza Fusion in Temecula? Thanks, Patty
  4. Freeda sublingual B12 has artificial sweeteners. I bought some and had to give it away. They don't have the ingredient list on their website unfortunately but it is in their catalog which they can send by mail. I don't know if their SCD vites have artificial sweeteners.
  5. Re: B12. I use a brand of Methylcobalamin sublingual made by Natural Factors which has no artificial sweetners, or gluten (I contacted them). 1000 mg. I don't know why they have to put sweeteners or flavorings in these products as there are some with 5000 mg I would take if I could but I can't use anything with the sweetners, sorbitol, manitol, etc......
  6. Here it is. RICE FLOUR PANCAKES 1 Cup Sweet Rice Flour 1 Tbsp sugar 2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp salt 1 cup rice or soy milk 1 egg, lightly beaten 2 tsp olive or vegetable oil Sift the rice flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together into a bowl. Beat in the rice milk until the mixture has a smooth consistency. Add the beaten egg and olive oil...
  7. Sorry you had a bad experience. I agree with another person who says they order whatever doesn't require someone to put their gloved hand in it. So, although I want lettuce and cheese, I do without it (maybe I will bring some from home in a little baggie someday). I get the burrito bowl, and everything at Chipotle except the flour tortilla is supposed...
  8. I saw the show! As soon as they said flattened villi, I said, the man has Celiac Disease! But I also knew it was too early in the show: they never get to what someone really has until the last few minutes. Then when the patient said, I can't feel my legs, I said, neuropathy, caused by malabsorption then malnutrition! As someone said, it turned out he didn...
  9. Thanks for the heads up! I headed down to Pizza Fusion yesterday, what a treat. I asked the waitress if she gets many people ordering the gluten-free pizza, and she said that at each table there at the time someone had ordered gluten-free pizza. By the way, off topic, if you know when the support group meets in Temecula, if you could let us know I...
  10. I received my answer, no thanks to PF Changs. None of our products contain any gluten or gluten products. Linda Breckner Customer Service Revolution Tea 5120 W. Buckeye Road Ste 5 Phoenix, AZ 85043 1-602-393-3737 1-888-321-4738 Fax: 1-602 393-3559 lbreckner@revolutiontea.com
  11. Thank you for the link! When I went to the Revolution Tea website I couldn't find any way to contact them. I've now sent my question and will post the answer when received. I don't think PF Changs plans to reply.
  12. Hi Amy, That was my favorite too! I would love to continue to have it but I would also love to know that it is indeed safe. I wrote back to PF Changs again since I posted, still no reply. I guess unless they are able to tell me that the manufacturers told them that they do not add gluten ingredients it is better for me to stay away.
  13. I buy Well Read Organic Red Wine at Trader Joes (not a drugstore but I thought I'd mention it anyway). I believe it is $5.99 but if not, it is not much more. No sulfites, of course.
  14. I posted this earlier in an established "what do you eat when you go to PF Changs" topic but I think it needs to be on its own. I love to eat at PFChangs but I recently became aware that I need to find out if flavored teas are gluten free. PF Changs has maybe 6 hot teas listed on their regular menu, but actually No drinks are listed on the gluten-free...
  15. It is good to know I can order the Pure Encapsulations vitamins through Amazon as I'm always ordering from them!
  16. Update. I checked out Pure Encapsulations but their website said that they "sell their products exclusively to health care professionals." Through another website, thenaturalonline.com, I found a sublingual Methylcobalamin 1000 mcg tablet by Natural Factors. Contains no artificial preservatives, color or sweeteners (and no sugar alcohols!) no corn, soy...
  17. Hi Jennifer, Thank for posting about the meeting in Temecula. I probably won't make this one as I live in Riverside, and have been tired from anemia. But hope to make the next one whenever that is! Sounds great. Patty
  18. Hello, I love to eat at PFChangs but I recently became aware that I need to find out if flavored teas are gluten free. PF Changs has maybe 6 hot teas listed on their regular menu, but actually No drinks are listed on the gluten-free menu so the omission didn't necessarily mean that the teas were not gluten-free. Anyway, here is the reply I received from...
  19. Hello, are all welcome, or do you have to be an official member of some group? Thanks
  20. I am trying to find a gluten free sublingual methylcobalamin form of B12 which does not have any sugar alcohols. My system does not tolerate those so unfortunately I am unable to take Jarrow brand. (sugar alcohols are for example sorbitol, maltitol, etc, anything ending in "ol"). Thanks!
  21. Hello! Sorry to hear that you are having problems. My husband is usually pretty supportive. When we go out to eat he usually orders gluten-free, then we can share. BUT at home the problem is this high fiber wheat bread he eats, the only non-gluten-free food in the house. He tried to get along without it, but his health issue is acid reflux. He seems...
  22. Hope you had a good time anyway! I only go there in I think certain days in October or November, when my husband and I get in free because he is a Vet. It is too bad food choices are so limited at the Knotts. I hear better things about Disneyland.
  23. p.s. Please let us know if you actually find somewhere in the park where you can eat. I doubt it. There is Mrs. Knotts, the Fried Chicken and Boysenberry pie place, and lots of little places, but I couldn't eat in the amusement park the last time I went.
  24. Hello, I don't know anywhere inside the park where you can eat safely, but directly across the street from Knotts Berry Farm, at 7971 Beach Blvd: NW corner of Beach Blvd and La Palma, is the Claim Jumper restaurant. You can go to their website, claimjumper.com and print a menu to take with you. Watch out, the menu doesn't always specify that a dish automatically...
