There are great sanctuaries - Ding Darling comes to mind. You have egrets, ospreys & I even saw an eagle once there. Lots of birds & wildlife in general. sorry...

    Thanks for your responses. She has decided to go gluten free. She is also on prednisone. She immediately started feeling better when she started the prednisone. She is now able to taper down on the dosage (hooray for small miracles). She has chosen to go gluten-free to help reduce any inflammation in her body so that she can be weaned off the prednisone...

    Thanks for the responses! I did look around here for threads on this...the debate is strong. Seems like companies that make wheatgrass are adamant (of course!) that there's no gluten in the juices because gluten lives in the wheat berry. But, others (myself included) are suspicious that it would be difficult to ensure that no wheat berries make it into...

    I'm taking Florajen3. They're wheat, gluten, yeast, sugar, soy, eggs, corn, coloring & preservative free. I know some people take probiotics with higher culture contents (Florajen3 has 15 billion cultures per pill), but these seem to be helping me.
