  1. I'm going to WFs on Sunday. I'm going to look for them also. I do miss pickles. I haven't had one in probably 8 years. That coconut soup sounds good too. ML
  2. Yolo, A book on the remedies (natural I presume), would be great! Do a google search on J. Rifkin and I'm sure stuff will come up. The guy knows more about what the gov. has done to the consumer without their knowledge than anyone I know. I heard about him in the early 80s when I was teaching. I know what it means to get too much die off! Yes...
  3. Sorry April, I saw your question a few pages back and I totally missed it somehow. You asked where I buy the potassium salt that I use in my detox bath. I only use 1/4 c. because it is more expensive than the rest. I decided to find and use it because I saw it on the ingredient list of the clay detoxes. In the salt section of walmart it is...
  4. Psipsina, Keep us posted on your next trials. I was also a glutten for punishment as I took HT continually eventhough I kept getting die off. By the 4th day, no more die off and I was okay. I wanted to get well fast! ML
  5. Yolo, Actually, I was teaching environmental studies back in the 80s and that's how I know of many of these things that happened. Jeremy Rifkin has been a long time advocate for the consumer and brought many of these things to the public eye that would have normally been put under the carpet. It is sad that these things happened without our knowledge...
  6. Psipsina, Oh my yes you dear one.... You must have had terrible die off and thinking that death would be better. Good news is you probably killed off all the fungus in your intestinal track. Now, pump with probiotics to fill in the emplty spaces or the fungus will come back. I'd take some with each meal and before bedtime too. It will help those...
  7. psipsina, I also got a lot of die off reactions the first time I used coconut oil. Go easy. It is a strong antifungal and if you have any fungus in your digestive system it will kill it off big time. Sorry but know that it did do some good. Give yourself time to recover and then try again with maybe half as much. THe first time I ever tried the...
  8. Hi Paula, I agree with April that the more toxic we are the longer and more often we need to detox. There was a time when I was doing the detox bath twice a day. I have found that if you can't take the heat very hot or for very long it is a symptom of heavy metals.... mainly mercury that gives one heat intolerance. Over time, you will be able to tolerate...
  9. Hi Julie, I've known several people that have taken the clay baths and they say that they work but they are very expensive. That's why I decided to do the cheap detox. thing. I also add potassium salt to mine because I read that on the label for the clay baths. ML
  10. Hi April, I'm here more often now because i'm using a different browser and it is so much faster. Thanks so much for inviting me over and the nice welcome. I spent tons of money on docs from 1983 to 1990 and three minor surgical procedures before I decided to start researching on my own. The material/truth is out there but it is buried deep. ...
  11. that's great.... I see many people and children with this problem and it seems they keep licking them to try and moisten them and it just makes them more and more chapped. ML
  12. Paula, Thanks for that link. It is good to know that processed anything may have some side effects if we do too much of it. I backed way off stevia about 3 months ago and just learned to eat/drink things without. Going back to just the natural taste. I also use a bit of agave here and there just to get something bitter down the hatch. moldlady
  13. April, Sounds like you have a good plan. The sauna will really pull the toxins out. As for the detox. baths? This is my best guess as to what is going on... Hot water opens the pores and vessels to draw toxins out of the body. As the water gently cools more of the toxins will pull out. The salts, Epsom, baking soda, potassium, will cause...
  14. Yolo, Moving away probably saved you many more troubles!! Good thing your parents got you out of there. I think it is terrible that the gov did not warn anyone about what they were going to do.... This kind of thing was done years ago when they genetically altered some bacteria to spray on the crops so they would not freeze. The public was never warned...
  15. Yolo, I've never met or talked to anyone that went through the "green run." That is just terrible. When I first found out about it, I would not buy apples from those areas thinking it still might be in the soils. Did you get any thyroid issues? If that is too personal you don't have to respond. moldlady ....
  16. I used to have this problem too. People told me that I wasn't drinking enough water. I drink tons of water. Then, others told me I wasn't getting enough fat in my diet. Well, with all the nuts and seed butters I put on things I'm sure I'm getting enough. The question I think should be....why isn't it getting into the tissues? Malabsorption? That...
  17. psipsina, Yes, the ginger is great for the nausea and everything else that goes with it. It really calms the inflammation. Paula, Depending on what is causing the nausea maybe some probiotics too. If you had die off then getting the good guys back in there would be a good thing. Blueberries will make a little bit black here and there depending...
  18. Hi Paula, I must tell you that I'm pretty lazy about preparing the veggies for juicing. If I can find them already washed and cut up I do. I have a heavy duty champion juicer for this. parsley lemon (peeling off) garlic clove spinach romaine lettuce celery brocc. carrot cabbage mix shredded granny smith apple radishes 2 cucumber...
  19. Rice guy, I understand what you are saying and I agree the industry is very deceptive to say the least. I have called companies too and have been told that there is MSG in everything and it cannot be totally avoided..... The reaction I usually get if there is MSG in something is that I get very very tired within about 20 minutes of digestion. I do...
  20. Parmesan "Cheese" 1/3 cup sesame seeds 1/2 cup flaked nutritional food yeast (no MSG and not active) 1/2 T. lemon juice 1/4 t. garlic granules 1/2 t. onion granules 1/4 cup walnuts I put the sesame seeds in the food processor first and get them really ground up and then I add the rest bit by bit. Store in refrig. "Cheese" sauce 1...
  21. I agree with April that the heavy metals are really an issue. I've found that green juicing has really helped and does not have many side effects at least that I have noticed. It is a lot of work but well worth it! ML
  22. Sickchick, I too was frustrated that there wasn't anything on the market that was any good and I do not trust what the companies put in their "cheeses." I have two recipes that I use. I can post them if you like..... moldlady
  23. A moldy cadaver.... oh that just creeps me out!! moldlady
  24. Can we trust the stuff that comes from China?
  25. Hi April, Yes, I remember someone having that problem. I'm thinking that human probiotics from Natren are strong enough to push out that bad bacteria. Sometimes the bad bacteria and fungus form biofilms that work to symbiotically protect each other. Maybe this is what the doc was getting at??? If you knock out that fungus then the bacteria goes with...
