  1. While I do agree 110% w/ this, I also think it's worth making a distinction. Of course the sugar feeds the beast. But the negative effects of coffee/caffeine come at the situation (re: candida anyway) from another direction. They kill some of the GOOD bacteria. I missed coffee SO much for so many months it actually *still* makes me sad.
  2. I want to chime in w/ my compliments as well! I'm always so envious of those that can produce visual art. I bought a bunch of paints & assoc accessories long ago and failed miserably! At the time, my gifted 5yr old nephew was drawing amazingly ans soon thereafter was already making his own cute-as-all-get-out comic book. Made me all the more...
  3. Oh man this so reminded me of how much I miss performing. And Donna! Belt it out! He wouldn't have asked u do it if u weren't capable!!
  4. I won't even try theirs or any other mass-produced chicken any more. I get locally-produced chicken breasts & 3 of my usual stores have some. Maybe something like that would work for u too.
  5. Am I reading this right? Sough-sie confers a positive connotation to being out of one's mind? thom certainly does not. But I am bugged by draught cuz there's a perfectly good draft available. And I don't want to imply that in general any mental dissonance from a mismatch in a word's spelling vs. pronounciation (omg I almost broke up w/ a girl for saying...
  6. I suppose I have a melange of problems w/ it. It looks like cough, which isn't said coup. It looks like tough, which isn't said two. Uh oh it does look like through, which sounds like threw. Wait I know! Taming of the shrough! . . . .brain . . . . .. . . .. .tired . . . .. . .someone wore me out . . . Ok, but I can *still* not like Draught...
  7. Wish I remembered which products but I AM positive 1 or 2 were made by Integrative Therapeutics, Inc. So at least I can chime in w/ a positive experience w/ the company.
  8. Well said. Omg maybe my most financially efficient music purchase EVER was "On the Threshold of a Dream" for a quarter!! (/me hopes that's early enough) I second that!
  9. Yes I created a whole slew of accts 3 yrs ago so I can lurk incognito. Going alphbetically I finally made it to tom. Slew=good word Homonym slough I don't like. But I did like kayaking Elkhorn Slough. More otters WAY close and seals and 6000 birds.
  10. LOL I could not beLIEVE when I first saw a jar for $18!! Wouldn't surprise me if it was an oz or 2 shy of the standard either. I get the WhF one for $6. I think that size of pb goes on sale for $1.79.
  11. Ow I think that's the one I almost broke a tooth on from pieces of shells in it. I think it was months later when ANOTHER jar had shell bits in it too! Never a problem w/ WhF 365 brand.
  12. Well . . . . . . .for a strict candida diet, I'd have to say it's not allowed. (Wish I could say otherwise) I think the strict diet is 'no glycemic'. Even a carrot is too sweet. I didn't touch a dessert for more than a year.
  13. Ohhhhhhhh ok a diff Richard. Seen the name mentioned but haven't seen him on.
  14. Oh my God all u recreational matchmakers!! We met . . . . ..like .....what . . 45 minutes ago? Can we backburner this topic for a little while?
  15. Hey now Richard is one of 2 I remember from '04. lovegrov, right? He and tarnalberry had a lot of answers for me back then. (But I wasn't any fun then so there'd be no reason for them to remember lil ole me)
  16. Heheh since I thought Bob's song had been covered so much, I was SO sure I'd be able to say "I hope u had a strategically placed pillow or fluffy dingo" but no. Had to look it up and I think hers is "Come in from the Cold" Dang! Sounds like the lyrics should apply tho.
  17. Yeah I was gonna say "shouldn't there be an N?" I've been watching too much tv for far too long to have not seen a few Munchy episodes.
  18. I can't imagine an argument against that. Makes perfect sense. I was cold to the core for yrs. When it finally started going away (candida treatment) I remember hearing a song that became my theme song for that era. "Coming in From the Cold" by Bob Marley and covered well by many. Priceless.
  19. D'oh! What was I thinking? I know that bad day that was posted about was a couple days ago. Somehow the last couple days flew by.
  20. Hold on - I had to respond to a plethora of interrogatory postings!! Ya SusieQ, great job staying off the comp hehehehehehehehe
  21. Yeah . . . . . I use 'opine' but never heard of 'knickers'. Who ARE u and what have u done w/ our Susie????
  22. I was trying to opine that touch trumps sight. Hehehehe if I remembered more english class I might know what fancy-shmancy tense to call that - it sure can't be past tense. (Maybe transitive something?)
  23. What the heck - I finally pop over here and the topic is BRAS!???? Holy crap (Sainted Scat?) you're serious aren't u? Don't do it. Seems to me women do it to make clothes fit sexier more than anything. Sure, guys like to look, but we like to touch even more. (Am I crossing a line that I can't see?) Not that I'm some expert, but as far...
  24. Whoa! I'd never heard of such a thing! Is there progress in betw? Is there a trend to the herxes? Wow, how long has this been going on?
  25. Ah yes - wet feet, a cold drink, and a big white Adirondack!
