How much Naturethroid do you take and how do you dose it throughout the day? I tried to do just the cytomel and I ended up having joint pain so I added some Naturethroid in for the T4 and it took most of the joint pain away. 65 is a lot! I take 50mcg in the morning with a 1/2 grain of naturethroid and I take t other 15mcg spread out throughout the day....

ARCHIVED My Liver Enzymes Are High Again
kimis posted a topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I was sent back to my gastroenterologist because my pcp suspected absorption issues after supplementing and bloodwork. My GI dr ordered various tests (along with a celiac panel to see if gluten was sneaking it's way into my diet). The celiac panel came back negative but my liver enzymes are high again. High liver enzymes on a routine blood work was what... -
ARCHIVED Low Dose Naltrexone
kimis replied to kimis's topic in Post Diagnosis, Recovery & Treatment of Celiac Disease
I asked my gastroenterologist about it and he didn't know what I was talking about. I see my rheumatologist on Tuesday and I'm gonna ask him to put me on it. I tried a few of his drugs and they didn't help so I think it's my turn to call the shots. -
Refractory celiac?.....I think he said that. I'm gonna look that up cause I think that is new to me. Yes.....my brain is uber foggy...hahahaha

My pcp sent me back to my gastroenterologist because I am still deficient in Vitamine D even after supplementing with 5000 IU twice a day. I have been gluten-free since April 2008 and he thinks I'm either eating hidden gluten (I don't think so) or I might need to go on steriods cause of some reason I don't really understand. He gave me a bloodwork slip...

I have to say that I really don't like Synthroid at all. Every time I had to increase my dose I would feel horrible. My hair would fall out, horrible acne, my body would hurt and I just felt like crying all the time. I would decrease the dose and those symptoms would disappear. I gave up trying for a while and just excepted that I was going to feel like...

ARCHIVED Black Rice Flour

Thanks Beth!....Not to sound stupid but you do it with uncooked rice....right? -
I have a tumor on my pituitary gland. I was really upset about it for a few years cause it was growing and I was unsure if my symptoms were from the tumor or the hashi's. The Docs I saw for the tumor all told me it was nothing and to forget about it. I always though they were wrong about that but I will bring this info up at my next endo app.

For the people who take or have tried the natural thyroid replacements..... why do you think it is better than the synthetic? I would love to know what your symptoms were that went away after starting the natural. I had alot of symptoms come back after switching to just natural. I love Cytomel! I do not care much for synthroid at all. Has anyone ever...
