  1. It does sound yummy. No taters for me tho. I wonder if sweet potatoes would work or cubed acorn squash maybe. Or butternut?? I am sensing an experiment.
  2. I tried the Coconut/Coconut ice cream today. Yummy!!! If I could have chocolate, it would be awesome drizzled in chocolate sauce. And perhaps over a warm gluten-free brownie.......oh..........
  3. How Awful for you. But a positive blood test is diagnostic for Celiac. Dear. You need to go on a gluten-free diet. And if it were me, I would start it ASAP!!!
  4. I think you should be tested for it. Yes. Full Celiac blood panel.
  5. It gives a lot of people ENERGY as well.
  6. Everyone keeps trying to take this thread bake to he "dead horse". No wonder Will dropped out.
  7. Some chips are a combo of corn and wheat flour.
  8. With that high glucose are they looking at his pancreas?? Diabetes and Celiac go hand and hand. I just dont understand how your Pedi could say everything is fine when all of those are either H or L???? Once again I cannot use the word I would like.
  9. https://www.celiac.com/articles/768/1/Pop-T...Free/Page1.html
  10. I agree too and that is why I have shifted my focus to my "gut". If you check out the other forum Ali....you can see what I am up to: "The Duck Quacks On...."
  11. Those are our favorite cookies. I've posted the recipe a time or too as well. Only I use almond butter. Yummy!
  12. I wouldnt let that GI doctor stick anything up/down ANY of my orafices. You should look for a new one. Im wondering if he was young and right out of med school.......Or VERY OLD and "set in his ways". I tested NEG on blood but POS to the diet.
  13. Welcome! It sounds suspicious for sure for Celiac. Do you have a Doctor? You should go and get a complete Celiac blood panel. Report back us. Hope you get to the bottom soon.
  14. I got burned this weekend at Cheescake where the server informed me that the Manager himself is Celiac!! The server was oh so reassuring, but I got veggies cooked in pasta water. Sooooo ALWAYS ask for the MANAGER. This is what I have learned.
  15. Will I hope you can sift through the dribble and find the "gems" in here. There are quite a few.
  16. I notice that the banana splits are gluten free.
  17. Im gonna steer this back to Will's issue. How bout if you find yourself stuck at a restaurant like Denny's you order some "whole fruit". Most places have bananas, apples, etc. whole. Bananas are great as they do not even need to be washed. Eggs are another great choice if you tolerate them. If you can do dairy ask for a banana and a glass of milk...
  18. That is the thing with beating a dead horse...it never complains.....
  19. If you have enough forthought to carry your Glutenese pills, you can think ahead and pack food to eat too so you are NEVER stranded. Nuts and Dried Fruit for instance dont need refrigeration and can be kept in your car. And if a "rural deserted area" has a Denny's, then I can GUARANTEE that they also have a grocery store. Geez! Just carrying the pills...
  20. Also, we all heal at varying speeds. Some get immediate relief while others have to keep at it 100% for a year or more. Without tests, you will have to commit to gluten-free living for at least a year.
  21. Well it would be difficult to know who has gotten "hurt" by using Glutanease if they are Celiac because the "hurt" could manifest as cancer years later.
  22. You should be tested NOW. Keep eating gluten and get a blood test for Celiac. It could be Celiac. But if you stop eating gluten, it can skew your tests.
  23. You will likely find MORE and BETTER information in this forum than with a doctor. But you can look for one. Hopefully someone will chime in in your area. Not everyone has to worry about make up. Basically if it can get into your mouth, you should make sure it is gluten-free. For instance, I only paint my toenails and never my fingernails, so I dont...
  24. I pray for a benign report. Hope you feel better soon.
  25. As long as the product you use is gluten-free and you do not have an intolerance to dairy....you should be fine.
