    i have good news and bad news.... it is possible for you to not have celiacs(good news) BUT ----(BAD NEWS) YOU HAVE CELIACS Let me explain it is possible to get pos. blood work and not have celiacs, unfortunately if this were the case you would have much bigger problems that you would definately know about...... if you had type 1 autoimmune insulin...

    when you have 1 autoimmune you are more likely to have another.... but you must realise that also you are likely to have antibodies that are also likely to be picked up on any antibody tests..... you didn't even test positive. people with type 1 diabetes (another autoimmune) routinely test positive on the antibody test for celiac but have negative biopsies...

    i try to make the cake toppers actual toys, like for my 6 year old i put a hot wheels car on it, an the he can pick off the toys and they are pratical.

    hi, i agree with the above posters. if you understand that you must go gluten free for life (meaning never questioning the dx) the save yourself the hassle and skip the biopsy and just get healthy. if you want the biopsy for any reason (work or you are not sure or what ever) then get the biopsy. if you go gluten free you are wasting your time and energy...

    i have a nutrimill, love it, and grind my own flour it is great. it makes the air dusty so i do it outside, but it is great.

    you can have no symptoms and still have damage from celiac's it is called silent celiac, and you find out you have it when you get cancer ect... if someone has symptoms get tested plain and simple

    my 6 year old had his biopsy yesterday.... they put an iv in and then gave him the gas to knock him out. we told him they were taking pictures of his tummy and that he would be sleeping during the pictures. they gave us a photo of his tummy to take home and we will tell him when he is older that they cut his intestine in 5 places.... kids don't always need...

    we are in utah county by highland -lehi border, and we havn't met too many people with ceilac's from the area. today we went to thhe store "against the grain" on 5400 south in taylorsville and saw some of the stuff in there.... we were pretty pleased to see some cereals we didnt know were gluten-free but are looking to see if there are anyother boys in first...

    yeah the problem with an 18 mth old is the blood tests are very unreliable, if you took your boy off gluten and he is not getting better after 6 mths or more, either you did not take him off all gluten or gluten is not the problem and he needs the extra calories consumed with gluten. i don;t know how strict you were and i do n ot know if he gained weight...

    they are rarely accurate in children under 24 mths old, but the can do stool testing on the kids under two. we had our 3 year old tested and we are confident the results were accurate, but he eats gluten daily.... it is a blood draw and he did't like it, BUT i was terrified we were poisioning him, so when the ttg game back at 1 and under 20 is negative i...

    my point is many children are silent celiac's ..... if you have any suspision at all, i would not hesitate to get her checked.

    my 6 year old had a ttg of 92 and had absolutely no symptoms at all.... no poop problems no tummy pain and very good growth. i would have her tested.... if she is producing antibodies then take her off gluten if it comes back negative you can stop worring for a year or so and have her retested as we have all family members tested yearly.

    unless you have to have a formal diagnosis for celiac, just stay gluten free and wait. if the pain is from celiac it will take up to a year of no cheating or accidental glutening and you will be fine, if you do not get better then look for something else. with negative tests you cannot "prove" you have it with out the challenge, but just go gluten free and...

    if you are looking to make them for a family and say for a lifetime, you can invest in a mill. you make sure your beans , peas or rice is not wet at all or oily and pour them in the top and it will make flour for you.     hi, i don't know of a daycare that would be able to provide her with a gluten free environment as little kids stuff gold fish in their pockets and she would have ready access to contaminated surfaces all over a daycare.... i would see if there is a family nearby that is also gluten free and go that route. I live in utah county and would not be able to help...

    my son,6 has celiac ( his ttg was 92) but me DH, &DS all came back negative TTG 1..... how do two biological parents have ttg's of 1 have a child with celiacs if celiacs is genetic? be patient with us please as we are still in shock over all this.....
