    We camp up in the Boundary Waters near Canada where there are plenty of bears. We use packets of chicken and make meals like chicken tacos and chicken and rice.     I am so sorry that you are having such a rough time! Taco Bell's red sauce does not have wheat, according to their website. We often get tostadas and pintos and cheese.     Chicken packets (available in grocery stores in the tuna section) are good with crackers. Bring a few packets of mayo. Minute rice cooks up nicely with the hot water from the coffee pot.     We love The Cheese Factory and eat there whenever we can. They do have odd hours so make sure you check before you go.     I am planning a family trip to New Orleans next month with my 3 kids, 2 of whom cannot eat gluten, milk, or soy.     We are coming from Minneapolis and travel to Illinois and Indiana fairly regularly so I'd love to get some regular places to stop. This is our first trip since dx in March.
