  1. Losing a pet is the worst!!! Tree is nothing really that will ease that pain but time... As for the rest of your post- I think I can relate a little. I went undiagnosed for 30 long miserable years. I too understand what it is like to look back and feel awful for al of the lost opportunities... People who didn't underhand, ruined outings, lost jobs, etc. But...
  2. I was at a family BBQ today at my future in laws' house. They're drinkers and I'm really not but I took a couple of gluten free beers over so that I could socialize. I guess I sat my gluten free beer too close to my fianc
  3. I have been meaning to try a probiotic & just haven't gotten around to it. That's a great idea. I definitely stuck with mote whole foods in the beginning and have gradually added more packaged foods, maybe my body just doesn't like that. Or, could be the intense stress of deciding to sell my business maybe.
  4. Thank you for the response. I always thought maybe I was OVERLY vigilant because I am constantly washing my hands & won't even kiss my fianc
  5. To make a very long story short, like a lot of you, going gluten free ended a lifetime of misery for me- almost immediately. I had a small bout of withdrawals in the beginning but really I felt absolutely incredible from about day three or four. Twice I've mistakenly ingested a small amount of gluten (I think) and had traces of the old pain I used to feel...
  6. Thank you. I'll call today. I had a gut wrenching stomach ache last night like the kind I just don't get anymore & was desperately wracking my brain for anything "unsafe" I could have consumed. I'm vigilant so I don't have a clue :/
  7. I am having a really hard time picking this apart. This is the ingredients list from the tooth whitening gel I used ro use... Can anybody help me figure out if this product is gluten free or not? Ingredients list: propylene glycol, glycerin, carbamide peroxide, carbomer, tromethamime, sodium saccharine, flavor. Thank you!
  8. I have been gluten free for over 10 weeks now & never could have imagined I could feel so great. Tonight however I am doubled over with a stomach ache like the ones I used to get. I really don't see any way I could have gotten glutened. I need to go but I've been sitting on the pot & I feel like my hemroids are so bad they won't let me go... I've...
  9. I have recently been put on the gluten free diet [as well as dairy free] and I'm still trying to get the hang of it. I'm not eating perfectly but I've had a miserable time so far - lots of stomach cramping and even some diarrhea the last few days. I'm feeling so discouraged because these are they symptoms I was trying to get rid of in the first place! ...

  11. Thank you so much everyone for your advice. I think I have been getting too easily discouraged. I didn't get here overnight so I won't get better overnight either. The advice about mastering the whole foods I can cook myself is probably what I need to focus on most - I'm still miserable but I realize that I haven't really been eating "meals" so much as snacking...
  12. Following what I consider to have been a major medical breakdown/illness, I was put on a gluten and dairy-free diet. My nutritionist and Drs. think this will be the key to my years of intense stomach and GI distress and kidney stones. I have been following the diet mostly, with a few slips here and there for two-three weeks now. I am dealing okay with trying...
