  1. Gluten = bitter. For me anyways. Thats why I know when something has gluten in it (well, dont know until after I eat it of course). It tastes rotten/moldy. ~ lisa ~
  2. I've been trying for quite a while now, and when I tried to upload a new one it gave me an error and now I cant even upload my old one either. Any idea why or how to fix that? ~ lisa ~

I'm so out of it I should have been studying tonight for my final tomorrow but too much of a headache(which feels more like a migraine right now), too much brainfog, too much pain, too much itchyness!!   4. AAAARGHH i'm sooooo bad at the college right now. I have finals all this week, so I came in earlier to study and just eat lunch here... I get to the staff room, open up the freezer in the fridge ..... theres a HUGE BAG OF BUNS on top of my bread bag (which ended up not being completely sealed--for some reason the tag wasnt closing it all).   5. Thanks. Well my fever went totally down today, in fact my temp was below normal!! (like 97). Then by 9 pm it was back up to 99.1, now its 99.6. WHY?! ~ lisa ~
  6. Still feel super sick, not QUITE as bad as last night but still bad enough. my mom was supposed to phone the college for me to say i'm not coming in today. I cant afford to miss the review, but I dont wanna feel more sick either! So I plan to rest and maybe catch up on some notes while I rest(that dont take much concentration haha).   7. Too late, already having the tea with sugar I'll drink it plain after this. is it safe to wear layers to feel warm, or do i have to totally freeze to death? The last time I had a bad fever I went to ER (and it was like 103)..and then gave me a shot. How I wish I could do that right now... BTW, landlady dont have a thermometer either ~ lisa ~

  10. Yes, I love the snow too. Especially being a tomboy, if I could I'd live in the bush somewhere and only use skidoo to get around anyways (*jealous of my guy friend for living that life* ).   11. I still get tingles and numbness, mostly in my wrists or hands and sometimes my feet. I've been gluten-free for almost 4 years and still those show up randomly. Hopefully you wont have this issue.. ~ lisa ~

  14. Yeah guess what, it is snowing YET AGAAINNNN. Since its been around -30 C(-40 or lower with windchill) i guess we should expect snow just to torture is more he snow we got this week was more that we had all of last year haha.   18. Check for campbell's soups. I'm not sure what ones are safe in the US but I know theres a lot in canada that are gluten-free and that I can buy at any regular grocery store (most of the time) ~ lisa ~
  19. Thanks (to Nancy and Ursula too!) for being supportive... I go to a community college, and all my teachers have jobs during the day of the classes they teach (like for exactly, my auditing teacher is an auditor, my law teacher is a lawyer, etc). ~ lisa ~
  20. Wanna know whats weird? mine has worked exactly opposite of your situation. before going gluten free, it couldnt be any more normal (it would come every 28 days, always last for 5)...and AFTER going gluten free it couldnt be more ABNORMAL.!!! ~ lisa ~

  22. Hmm well my watch has a velcro strap so none of the metal actually touches me. and I dont wear any jewelry at all. but it could be contact dermatitis somehow, never thought about it! ~ lisa ~
  23. As you know I have had issues with dry skin issues for a while already this year, but have mostly solved that with the Cliniderm lotion. BUT this week I noticed my DH is getting a lot worse and there's some that has developed on my wrist? (maybe because I usually wear my watched on my left hand). But yeah I dont know, anyone else get their DH flare up more...
  24. since i've gone gluten-free i've been having issues with a lot of other foods, even ones i'm not allergic or intollerant to--my body just doesnt agree with them. caffeine honestly doesnt bother me at all, I drink it daily (i cant function thru my day without having some sort of coffee in my system) and i have no other affects that i wouldn't have normally...
  25. There is oat flour in Rice Krispies in Canada last time i checked (and the extract)....why dont you just buy the ones from Kinnikinnick? they are pure rice and...yum ~ lisa ~
