  1. As I read along, I will look for the psilly spelling and let ya know. Not a martini gurrl. I think whine might be my choice.
  2. Actually, if we look at your profile, we can't see your address ( required info) but we can see "location". To update or remove info : click on your picture in the top right corner of the forums. Above the thick green line , on the right, is a blue box that says " edit my profile". Click. Go all the way down, past " required info". You can delete...
  3. Just read the first 6 pages of this thread. To summarize: In the beginning, there was singing of annoying songs. Then talk about refrigerators. Old links don't work anymore, so of the posts make even less sense than usual. Can see that this might be better with a little drink or two.
  4. Had to turn it off in the middle of spaghetti. I hope I can get that song out of my head!
  5. Because you were so careful with his food, he tests negative. Here is an example: if I test you for rat poison, your test will be negative. Great! If you then say, " I tested negative. I will eat Rat poison.". That would be stupid. The first few days you eat the poison, you feel fine. But you are damaging yourself. Wiith gluten, the damage will...
  6. Pancakes are very cute. I have never been much of a pancake person. I see you have planned my Saturday night for me! It's a lot of pages, how many drinks will I need? Maybe I had better take notes!
  7. Bev's fairs are much more exciting than ours! Boys are home from school. The teachers need a break from them. They will be off Friday in 2 weeks, also. So here's a question I have been wondering about: what happened to the guy who started this psilly thread?
  8. Thicker and chewier than corn or flour. Non gluten-free son says they are ok for quesadillas because they taste fine and hold up well to sauce. But a different chewy texture.
  9. I don't think you can get glutened from smelling but... If he was mixing up a batter, and flour and corn meal were flying in the air, it could have landed on your lips, fingers, your food or drink. Never liked corn dogs myself, but I remember they are a messy food with breading crumbs falling off as they are eaten. Watch your drink in these situations...
  10. This is very helpful as we will be in the area to ski in March. We usually get a condo so we can cook most meals, even before I went gluten-free. The kids eat enough junk at the ski resorts for lunch. We usually stay in the Sandy area.
  11. What was the recall on the FFL tortillas? I use them a lot!
  12. Your dates are the highlight of my boring life!
  13. Carla, maybe it was really the scotch.
  14. They probably mean Food for Life. I get them at WF. I like to use them for a thin pizza crust.
  15. We went to Disney in CA. We ate at 2 fast food type places. They were great! You get a menu at the Court House guest services that tells you which places have what. Even at the fast food places, only the kitchen manager is allowed to make your food. It takes a few minutes more but that's OK. The kids that take your order know about gluten-free and allergy...
  16. Em, did not know you are a career counselor. I believe that when my 14 yr old sees this, he will have found his career. Snow shoes, bear cubs, wolves, elk......it's perfect!
  17. Sometimes my iPad manages to post the same thing twice in a row. Sometimes the Mods delete it for me. I think that may make my iPad even more determined to post twice the next time.
  18. Come on, Jess! The suspense is killing us!
  19. Hey Real and Mods! Didn't it used to say where we live in the little box with our name & av? Or did I hallucinate this? ( possibility, brain fog & all). I found that helpful with the posters who want to put it out there!
  20. When we lived in Sacramento. Ca, we waited for the big one to hit San Fran so we could have beach front property!
  21. Sorry, I forgot you weren't there! I feel I take you all with me everywhere. The grocery lady said her folks live in OK and just had an earthquake. Then she said her daughter in Oregon said they were reporting that the ""geographical signs" were pointing to an earthquake.
  22. Now I remember! They had an earthshake in Oklahoma today. The lady at the grocery said her daughter is in Oregon and they have been warned to get supplies. They are expecting a 9.0 earthquake. Any of you Pacific Northwest residents heard this?
  23. Had something to put on here but got distracted by the 5:00 news and the miners. Must not have been important!
  24. Well, I give up!
