  1. Was wondering that meselph! Hope she had breakfast food planned!
  2. Would talking with school counselor help ? You or your mom? What about your dad or another relative? Minister at church? Sometimes it's hard for 2 people who live together to really see each other. We remember the child they have always been and don't see the new person they have become. Maybe another adult your mom would respect could sit down with...
  3. That's bee- u- ti- ful. M went backpacking and took a bunch of Lara and Lara-like bars with him. I forgot to warn him not to eat all 6 in 1 24 hour period. Hub & I had a nice steak, potato, asparagus and choc Carmel brownie dinner. Then watched " The Bucket List". Great movie but we were both teary at the end.
  4. They put those things in different varieties of cigs? Did not know that! Been thinking of you and your Significant Other ( what to call grown up BF?). Is he quitting smoking? You feeling good?
  5. How old are you? Should you move out? how were you diagnosed? Do you live in the US? I' m asking this stuff to try to help you figure out your options. Plates might not be your issue. Pans, colanders, cutting boards could be the issue. Just wash your plate and forks before you eat. Got to spend time with hub, I'll get back to you tomorrow, Honey...
  6. From the Tums website: Does TUMS contain gluten? Although we do not use gluten as a filler in TUMS, there may be trace amounts of gluten in TUMS Smoothies Cocoa and Cream flavor via ingredients that are supplied by outside vendors. Other products of TUMS do not contain gluten. Review the
  7. I just signed! I also noted that many companies do not know if there is gluten in the product. Target does not know on the target brand OTC medications. I have called the number on the box and of different items. I get the same response that they "don't have that information". If I want, they can call the manufacturor and get back to me. Its nuts!
  8. In this forum, status doesn't seem to mean much that I've noticed.
  9. You removed your state successfully. It doesn't show anymore. You did receive an answer on the status question. On mine: I click on my picture in the top right corner. It says my status " Pheeling psilly". And it has an update button. I don't know if you have the update button because you didn't put anything in yet. Try clicking on that space and typing...
  10. My parents were a bit like that, too. I don't know how old you are, but as I got older and had kids, I realized that a lot of it wasn't that The B+ wasn't good enough. It was just that they thought I could do better if I studied a little more. I try to tell my kids that as long as they tried hard, then it's a good grade. We tell them that the decision...
  11. I know 2. I know a couple of others that know that gluten is an issue but eat " gluten lite". My mom told her friend when I was dxed. She told her I wouldn't go to restaurants because even a crumb was bad. My mom's friend said that was silly. She had 2 friends with celiac disease and they just take the burger off the bun. I think we all know people...
  12. This was in the paper today. You know you're a Redneck if...you're staring at the orange juice can because it says "Concentrate".

    ARCHIVED My Head

Thanks. I think God is telling me to get new shampoo. . It spilled all over the shower, when no one was around. Then the last 2 times I have used what was left, a whole lot came pouring out.
  14. I love Kind bars and those Nature valley almond gluten-free bars. I prefer a bar that can't get a date.
  15. quaker with PB or sun butter!

    ARCHIVED My Head

So what did you get that you liked?
  17. Our WF has them in the energy bars and sometimes at the register. I don't like them. Too many dates for my taste. However, 2 of them and another gluten-free kind of mint chocolate went with my 14 year old son backpacking this weekend. He likes them. I have also seen them other places. Maybe even the convience store.
  18. We need a cheer for this pep rally! Rah rah rhea! Kick em in the knee! Rah rah rhass! Kick em in the other knee! No wait that doesn't work ! Try this: Give me a G! Give me a L! Give me a U! Give me a T! Give me a E! Give me a N! What's that spell? Poison! Betcha can't tell I was never a cheerleader!
  19. We should fix Mabsy & Cooper up. She would love a big dog she can boss around.
  20. Rice Chex make good doggie treats. They are low fat and low calorie. Good for training or when you need to give several treats. From what I have read, wheat isn't really good for dogs. They don't digest it well. Its used as a cheap filler.
  21. Sounds delicious! Hope he likes fish. I would be happy to have you cook for me but I don't think I'm your type. I have hazel eyes.

    ARCHIVED Taco Bell

Wendy's lists the Ranch dressing as gluten-free. They don't list that salad, maybe because its new. I have a hard time gettting non gluten-free orders correct at fast food places because of language barriers, inexperienced workers, uncaring workers. I wouldn't trust them to make my food extra carefully. (Disclaimer: I realize not all fast food workers...
  23. It is salmon so ... it could be her and the kitties. But I don't think so!
  24. My BIL is starting a casual, healthy food restaurant. He thinks he will have gluten-free and allergy friendly cooking practices. Does anyone know where he could get info on gluten-free restaurant practice? I know I have seen it before. I will look but if anyone knows about this, let me know. Thanks
  25. Patti! Did you notice Jess said" we" !
