  1. I use grape seed oil. I just recently started using it and it makes the food taste absolutly wonderful. I could not believe the difference in taste of the food, once my mom started using it. I swear by it and it is free of gluten, soy, and dairy. The ingredients: 100% natual grape seed oil. This oil can be treated as any oil would be, it can be used...

Yeah, she said there better anti-inflammatories then motrin but I dont like taking medication so I try and limit it, usually I will just use the warm compress it seems to help. But I also have a problem breathing. I alawys feel like I cant breath, and I was just at my doctor and she said it has nothing...

  5. I have been complaining about these symptomes for about a year now. I feel like I can never breath and I have shortness of breath. The chest pain that I have, my doctor told me that it was the cartlidge in my chest becoming inflammed, and causing pain and she said to take some motrin and if it got really bad, use a warm compress. I just went to the...

My boyfriend and I were talking about this the other day because he is concerned for me. I just want to make sure that I stay Gluten Free. 7. Over the Holiday season, I had made a couple of batches of Sprtiz cookies with rasberry jelly. I was really worried about making them becasue of the flour issue, but then I purchased a bag of "Mr. Ritz's Gluten Free Flour". Well, all I have to say is that the cookies were amazing. they were not as golden as usuall becasue the flour was alot whiter, but...
  8. orth tri cyclen Lo is gluten free, i used to take it. But I would be really carefull because it you have a reaction to something it could mess up the medication. Because you will not absorbe it. I personally have bypassed my small intestine so that I can make sure that I am getting the medication because I dont want any accidents. I am on the patch. ...
  9. Oh that is so awesome that you had such a great experience. I went to Disney in August and I stayed at Shades of Green Disney Resort and had an amazing experience also. We had purchased the meal plan also and at the buffets the chef would come out and make dinner for me seperate. It it such a wonderful experience to go and not have to worry about not being...
  10. I acutally never thought of this, my boyfriend did and he is not even Celiac. But when I was first diagnosed, he was worried about contaminating me and when we go out he will just rinse his mouth with his drink and then until he can brush his teeth he will only kiss me on my cheek or my forehead. He is so cute. But yes you should def. be concerned with...

  12. I was just recently tested for that also. My test came back negative, but before I had the test done my doctor and I were considering options just in case I did have it. And since we have celiac diease and we have problems absorbing things, then by taking an ingested pill that has to pass through the small intestine kind of defeates the purpose. We were...
  13. I leave for Disney this Saturday and I was a little scared but I calle my resort and they are going to accomidate my diet. They said that they would cook me my own food if I brought it. But i am glad to hear that some restaurants participate in the gluten-free menu. Thanks

  15. I know for a fact that oscar myer is okay.....because they were the only hotdogs that I would eat and my mom called and they are a go for gluten-free. You can even have the cheese hotdogs they are gluten-free also! HAPPY EATING!
  16. oh, I just that this was a more intrenal thing dealing with the small intestine......I didnt realize that it had somthing to do w/ the blood stream.
  17. Yea, that is where I made my mistake. I just read it fast and thought that it was all of them. Unfortunatly i dont like the dark chocolate But thanks!!!
  18. You only get a gluten reaction if it is passed through the small intestine. This goes directly into your blood stream and should have no effect on you. I belive that it is gluten-free anyways. This is what my doctor had told me.
  19. I have had two done and they have been fine. For both they knocked me out and I dont remember a thing. The worst part was the IV. I hate needles But they did not give me an option at all. They just knocked me out, and plus I would def. rather have it that way. You dont feel a thing You should def. have no problems. Good luck!
  20. A milky way bar..... I had no idea what it was that made me sick, but....I just happened to look it up while I was in class and yup there it was of the Gluten list
  21. I know that Tri-Ortho cyclen Lo is gluten-free, but my doctor put me on the patch just because they did not want to take any chances. Espically during the first year or so of the intestine to heal, they just wanted to bypass it totally. I was a little weary of the patch, but it is great. One less pill that you have to worry about. Amanda
  22. I was told that as soon as I got my blood work to change my diet. My GI told me that it would not change the results of my Scope. The only way it would change the results is if I waited over a year to get the Scope done. But if it is with in a few months. I think that you should go gluten-free as soon as possible!
