  1. Hershey does NOT say that Reese's Peanut butter cups are gluten-free. Better to stick to Snickers. My young nephews love string cheese, Jell-O cups, pudding cups (read the box and avoid the cookie flavors), and the Yoplait Go-Gurt tubes.
  2. Rash, all sorts of GI trouble, and fatigue? Celiac testing makes sense to me.

I didn't know that fish sauce and oyster sauce can have gluten in them so that probably explains my sudden issues with Thai food.   5. I'm so sorry you are sick and feeling bad. Obviously you're sensitive to gluten, since you react so strongly to eating it. Someone else mentioned fructose malabsorption as well and I had the same thought. Your bloating, gassiness, and reaction to sweets are what makes me wonder.
  6. I had depression and anxiety caused by what I know now was gluten. I was treated with Prozac, which gave me manic episodes and ended up diagnosed as bipolar and on lithium and depakote. Six months after going gluten-free the fatigue and depressive episodes stopped. With the help of my psychiatrist I tried going off the meds that were barely working anyway...
  7. I've been gluten-free for a few years now. I'm probably celiac but I went gluten-free on my own and am not willing to eat wheat for blood tests/biopsy. It makes me too sick.   8. I get a day of GI symptoms and starting about 24 hours later a couple days of brain fog, anxiety, and depression. Not pleasant at all.
