  1. Congrats on the accomplishment. It actually works doesn't it? Will you do the forum a favor and list what your typical day (all meals and beverages looks like)? ~Wheatfreedude~
  2. I applaud your commitment to a vegetarian diet. Heck, I used to be a VP as the nations second largest frozen vegetarian company. But, here's my concern (and concerns that I had to address when customers were writing it). How are you getting your protein? What are you sources? How much protein are you eating each day. A severe lack of protein and...
  3. This is a GREAT product. A good way to get your probiotics and a nice dose of protein. And unlike many Dannon and Yoplait products, there is NO HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP! (yes, they use that garbage to make it taste extra sweet). Keep us posted what you find (when you hear back from Whitney's) ~Wheatfreedude~
  4. When looking at supplements, such as fish oil, the first brand you should pick up is the private label or store label brand. The buyers at Costco, SAM'S, Trader Joes, and Whole Foods are some of the strictest in the industry. You'll get the same quality as the national brands at a fraction of the price. Check the ingredient statements just to make sure...

  7. I must admit, the nuns back in Catholic Grade school nearly had to put me in a headlock to give me a table spoon of Fish Oil. Obviously, they were onto the benefits of taking it well before the rest of the mainstream. Regardless of your age, weight stats, demographics, etc.... Make SURE that you take your fish oil multiple times per day. You can do a...
  8. Since you are a fellow Costco shopper, look in the deli for AmyLu chicken sausages. I know they are NOT hot dogs, but they are: * 100% natural
  9. I can help you out here with your diet. But, I'm going to need more information from you. What are your current stats (Height, Weight) Can you list the food/beverages of your typical day (start from the time that you get up and list absolutely EVERYTHING.... even if it's a handful. Please also give me an idea of your beverage intake. List that, and...
  10. Most of the larger and smaller towns have farmer's markets on a daily basis. They are loaded with fresh produce, cheese, and meats. The prices are usually really good too.
  11. Noted on your clarification. But, they still have all of those other additives. Opt for ALL-Natural hot dogs and sausages folks! Your body will thank you.
  12. One thing that you may want to certain to do, it snack on items that actually have protein. Protein is what makes you feel full and it's the driving force toward satiation (fancy word for feeling full). Opt for: Low salt roasted nuts (3TBS = 5g protein) All natural low fat luncheon meats All natural low fat veggie frozen burritos Low fat cheeses...
  13. According to Hershey Park's website, here are their ingredients: NATHAN'S FAMOUS Nathans Famous Hot Dogs
  14. Your diet sounds pretty spot on. There are only a few changes that I would make. Why don
  15. Two things: 1) If ANY of your candy bars have HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup) put it back on the shelf. 2) Stick with all natural dark chocolate bars (high in anti-oxidants) ~Wheatfreedude~
  16. So, we all remember that day when the doctor broke the news that we had Celiac's disease. If there was a hidden camera on our face, it would be a look of shock.... just thinking of the pastas, breads, beers, cookies, etc. that we could no longer eat. That was the day that I blessed the fact that I was a carnivore! Everyone is looking for that secret...
  17. Do me (and yourself) a favor. Yep... it's two parts hydrogen and one part oxygen. Now, I know that this sounds like a lot.... but I personally recommend 70-100 ounces of water a day. It's really not a whole lot if you think about...
  19. Middle aged guys rule!
  20. I will cut to the chase on this one. LEAN animal proteins need to become your best friend (LOL). 24. I am NOT a fan of High Fructose Corn Syrup (the main sweetening agent in their original flavor). Do you want to know why? Go to your favorite search engine and you'll find plenty of answers as to why you should stay away from it. So, start reading ALL ingredient statments (beverage and food). You thought that removing gluten from your diet makes you...
  25. I was diagnosed with Celiac's over a year ago at the age of 40. I immediately researched EVERY book that I could and completely turned around my diet and work-out regimens. There were several nutritionist/friends involved and it certainly doesn't hurt that my work-out partner was in the Army's specials forces in Iraq. Those dudes know how to work out!...
