  1. My English? Hm... I came to the USA 10 years ago and I didn't knew one zip from English. I was even afraid to say "HI" to people. I started to watch TV very loud. I had Germen language in school for 6 years, and as we know, they also have many similar words. I learned to talk in half of year. I actually understood more than I was able to speak. I didn't speak...
  2. That page is in Slovak language. It's in middle of Europe, under Poland, next to Cezch republic on left (part of my country Cezchoslovakia 18 years ago), on top of Austria and Hungaria and on right next to Ukraina. Slovakia is country where I was born. Our languages are similar. I can also read some words from others countries around me, but to speak there...
  3. Are croquembouche made from puffed pastry? I have the recepy for that and also for puffed tubes stuffed with butter (egg yolk) cream or egg white cream, but you need special small tubes that you roll the dough around them. I'm planing to buy them and make this fancy pastry. Check them here: Open Original Shared Link This page is in different language...
  4. In my opinion you can use any similar store brought bread mix or your own mix, just use lot of oil when handling the dough. I thing I have somewhere recepy for the streudel. I will look for it and post it later. With the same dough you can make steamed fruit balls covered with chocolate, poppy seeds, walnuts or farmer cheese. I will post the recepy for...

Here it is: Direction: 1 entire box of French Bread & Pizza mix 1 ¾ cups warm water 1 tbsp cider vinegar 2 Tbsp. of granulated sugar ½ tsp. salt 1/3 cup vegetable or canola oil ...
  6. I remembered something. People can have fear of eating with dumping syndrom (I have that) because they know that food will make them sick. They would avoid eating just to feel better.
  7. Hi! I would like to ask you what are you eating day before and when? If you eat your dinner, snack very late than you can have reaction from that in the morning. Over night our digestion will slow down. What test doctor gave you for dumping syndrome? I’m asking because my first Gastroenterologist suggested that I might have it year ago, but dismissed b...
  8. If you got your allergy to nuts in your adulthood, you will never loose it. You will always have it. Don't try to eat nuts!!! If you got it as baby, then it's possible to drop it later in life.
  9. I have been gluten free for one year now (today) and also casein free for almost one year, but I can say that I'm living proof of great improvement. I'm also allergic to nuts. I had anaphylactic shock 6 years ago. Doctors saved me in hospital. I know what you mean. I also have very bad reactions (I can't breath, bloody sorces on my tongue, burning in...

  11. I saw my allergist and she gave me injections to see, if I have milk allergy. It was positive. The doctor told me that I must stay away from casein, every milk product, etc. It wasn't prick test, she injected the liquid under my skin. She also gave me injection for wheat. It was negative for 1 hour, but later I had reaction for more then 24 hour. She told...
  12. Hi! I'm also the patient of Dr. Tennyson at Columbia University in New York. I had the hydrogen breath test for bacterial overgrowth and also for fructose intolerance. Both were positive. For lactose intolerance I need to avoid fruit high in fructose, honey, any fruit syrup, jelly, dry fruit. For SIBO Dr. Tennyson prescribed for me two antibiotics. I...

  15. I did it already. Check this: Very soon I will try to convert another cake to casein and gluten free. It will be very easy. Currently I live in the USA, but I'm from Europe and my cakes are different. I'm trying to convert them to cups and make them friendly for people with food restrictions. So far with luck. Enjoy

  17. Hi! I have fructose intolerance and I had fructose intolerance breathing test. It was positive for me. The technician tested two gases, not just one. She tested me for methanol too. I had only methanol readings high. The technician gave me to drink 1 cup some special liquid and checked my breath every 20 minutes. I asked her how she will know if I have...
  18. I made mistake with copy and paste and I just realized it. This is the proper instruction: Put lady fingers on top of cake. Cover the dough very tide with them. Peal the apples and cut them on thicker slices (1/3 of inch). Put them on top of the lady fingers (one next to another, in rows). Sprinkle them with cinnamon and sugar. If the apples are sour,...
  19. On top of my lactose intolerance I developed real milk allergy. I can’t have any milk. I will eat coconut yogurt from time to time (when I have money to visit Whole food store). I will buy plain or some times chocolate. I will have abdominal pain after any fruit flavor. It is possible that I don’t have enough of digestive enzymes. Why? I don’t know....

  23. I never had any problems with any tape before I went gluten and casein free. Now I'm very sensitive to anything (fruit, vegetable, fructose), but I didn't aspected to react to tape, even paper.
  24. I'm fructose intolerant. I would like to ask: What can happen to me, if I will eat more fructose than I suppose to? I know that I will have cramp, bloating ..., but can something happen to my intestines like with gluten? Do I need to avoid all fruit forever. So far I can tolerate only berries. Even orange, or banana is out. I will eat them like ones,...
