My 2 almost 3 month old is on Similac Alimentum due to a milk allergy, but since I've got a gluten intolerance, I'm also worried it might manifest itself with him. Its supposed to be easy on the the tummy for babies with food allergies... But I was wondering is it really without gluten? Or ANY formula for that matter? I mean when I read the can I noticed...

Oh, I didn't know Iodine made a difference in the rash healing!!!! Thanks for that tip! Meanwhile, I agree with squirmingitch, the disappearance varies, same with coconut oil or any itch relief for that matter... (Just don't do what I do and say 'Oh I feel miserable anyway, I'll eat more gluten/dairy...)

Yeah mine usually is immediate if its gluten in topical stuff --- well other than the cracks on the corners of my mouth, that usually takes a little time to develop... Ingested, it varies... Usually before the day's out though. -

I am gonna ask my doc about it I decided, my ob suspects something else is up cause I am still nauseated six weeks after giving birth...I wonder if it is the bacon though, and the actual rash happened when I tried j and j but that doesnt make sense since its supposedly hypoallergenic and gluten-free -
Never taking the bus with Jaden again! So mad! First the driver makes fun of me for having trouble getting on, when he was the one who wouldnt put out the ramp. Then he makes me take J out of his seat and puts the stroller/seat combo in the wheelchair straps... without baby and I am made to hold him! So much for safety! Thank you both... and dang, in that case... My kid might be inheriting a lot from me... Already, we've determined he's got some sort of food allergy, likely milk, but not tested yet. Doc had to switch formulas. Edit: Lyn do you know where the thread is?
