    ARCHIVED Armpits Dh

I Googled sals. There is a forum dedicated to it. I react to most of the foods listed. WOW. I never thought of a secondary intolerance like this. I am convinced that I react to sals. The only thing that was listed as high that I don't react to at all is olive oil. Thank God b/c It's the only oil that I can use. I use a lot of garlic too. I also...
  2. Delish! Thanks for posting.
  3. Other than Olive oil, those things would make me sick too!
  4. Thanks Prickly! I responded back to you in the DH section.

I will check out benzocaine products. Thank you! I will try anything b/c this is unbearable. Prickly, what are salicylates? I Googled it but I can't really figure it out. The things that cause me to have a gluten type reaction with the digestive issues and DH are gluten, corn in all forms..citric acid is the worst. Grapes and raisins give me intestinal...

    ARCHIVED Armpits Dh

Thanks everyone!!! Prickly, Vanicream really helped. Great stuff! Why would my corn allergy give me DH is what I am wondering. I get it from gluten and now corn..unless I was glutened and blamed it on the corn I drank in the soda. Who knows..Sometimes celiac is a complete mystery as to what made us sick.
  7. I am exactly the opposite. I use to get D with pain and gas. Now I don't get D, I get floating stool and mucus with pain and gas. I think that the mucus forms a protective layer that keeps a toxin from getting through and when it senses gluten, it makes a lot kind of like when your nasal passages produce mucus when you have a nasal allergy or a cold. ...

    ARCHIVED Armpits Dh

Whenever I consume gluten by CC or corn, I get DH on my elbows and recently both of my arm pits. It's insanely itchy. I drank a soda on Sat. night and woke up Sun. morning with DH under my arm pits. It was so itchy that I was scratching them overnight and now they are bleeding.
  9. I couldn't agree more. I use to be a strict vegan but since developing celiac disease and a nut allergy, I can't get enough calories without meat. I WISH I could go back to that way of eating though. I felt great. I know that I feel so much better when I am only eating whole foods. Whenever I eat something processed, I get a lot of digestive issues. ...
  10. When you get glutened or eat one of your trigger foods on accident, as the pain lessens, do you ever get gas with mucus? I know that I have serious corn problems but I drank 2 sodas over the weekend and ever since, I have had an armpit rash that is now bleeding and gas, cramps and mucus. It's driving me nuts! -
  11. I'm just bumping this up. Anyone know?
  12. Whenever I get glutened, corned, or casein after the pain starts to lessen I get mucus. It's not always in the stool, sometimes it's all I pass. Is this similar to having a cold but in the intestines? I am guessing that it is the inflammation in the intestine that is similar to the inflammation in nasal passages and once the allergen is gone, the mucus...
  13. I was just wondering what people mean when they say that they have reacted to a certain non-gluten thing like rice, soy, corn, fructose etc. Does it mean that you have had a gluten TYPE reaction like intestinal stuff or what?
  14. I love Afterglow cosmetics. They are really good and made by a family with celiac. They are on the pricy side but well worth it as they are all gluten free from a dedicated facility and all organic. As far as shampoo goes, I use Johnson's Baby Shampoo and Johnsons Baby leave in conditioner. I have hair down almost to my lower back and it's thick and...
  15. Hi, I know that we have talked before about our corn issues. I am currently corned right now so I feel your pain. Check your rice. I am not sure if it's riceland or mahatma or one of the others but look on their websites. One of them has corn listed as all allergen for all of their rice. This corn stuff is just as bad as gluten if not worse for me....
  16. Does anyone use Science Diet dry foods? I was reading the label today and as far as I can tell, the only gluten in it is corn gluten. My dogs seem to enjoy it. I still wear gloves and feed them out in the garage just incase.
  17. I am wondering if this happens to anyone else. When you get glutened, soyed, corned, caseined, etc. during the month, do you find that your period that month is more painful and heavy. When I haven't had any reactions to my offending foods, my periods are much better. Thanks! Also, what works best for the pain?
  18. Lovely.....
  19. I am going to have to check into this. Thanks. I wonder if there is anything homeopathic that we can use?!
  20. When I get glutened, I get intense left sided pain. It feels like it's on fire but it's much lower more like low left side bad cramps. I am very sensitive to chemicals too. I think a lot of us here are. I hope you feel better soon.
  21. I am as sensitive to corn as I am gluten. With that said, I was glutened by cc almost 2 weeks ago. I still have gas, pain and some bloating etc. I took Pepto a few times and some Motrin for the pain. I know that they have corn in them but I needed some relief! Now I am left with digestive issues and severe joint pain in my hands and cold sores from the...
  22. I have been doing a lot of baking lately with coconut flour. These brownies are really good and so easy! In fact, all of the recipes on here are easy. So far I have made banana bread, pancakes, blueberry muffins and brownies. Here is the link to the recipe page Open Original Shared Link Brownies Ingredients 1/3 cup TIANA Organic Virgin Coconut...

    ARCHIVED Achy Body

Thanks for answering. That is exactly what happens to me!
  24. Woke up this morning feeling like I was hit by a truck. I have not been glutened, corned, dairy-ed, or soyed. I have not eaten any trigger foods so it isn't a nightshade issue or food related. Does anyone else get like this? I took some Tylenol Arthritis and it did help a lot but periodically I will get feeling like this for no reason. Is this just part...
