  1. I bought my Soda Stream maker at Target. Bed Bath and Beyond has them too. Also you can check them out online and get it from the company direct.
  2. I use Afterglow cosmetics. All organic and ALL gluten free made in a gluten free facility by a family of celiacs. This is awesome make-up. It's a little expensive but well worth it.
  3. I can't eat Udi's either.
  4. I have fibromyalgia too. Mine is a direct result from celiac. If I get zapped by gluten, soy, dairy or corn, fibro comes on very strong. Type fibromyalgia into the search on the site, there are several threads on it. It is common with celiac. Yes, I have become more and more sensitive to foods as time goes on. First it was just gluten then dairy...
  5. Thanks! I usually get the mucous after the D is all finished.
  6. I can't tolerate manufactured citric acid either (it's from corn) I use to love soda. I bought myself a little juicer and have been making homemade lemonade. You can use carbonated water and it's still got the bubbly water but it's just water, lemon and sugar or whatever you want to sweeten it with.
  7. MIne is def. corn and sals related. Read about salicylate sensitivity. A lot of us here can't handle them. Also, many here have problems with corn causing gluten like reactions. Manufactured citric acid comes from corn. The citric acid in plain old oranges is natural. If you are ok with eating an orange than it is probably corn and or sals.
  8. A baked sweet potato with some brown sugar and a red delicious apple with cinnamon and sugar. - homemade lemonade.
  9. From a gluten standpoint, it appears to be gluten free. Would I eat it, no. It's got several of the things that I can not tolerate. If gluten is your only issue, it looks ok.

I never thought about that. I'll look into it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thank you. It's better this morning. There is no corn free Tylenol. Motrin and Advil give me severe intestinal issues. Aleve is pretty much corn free but not sals free at all. I only take it when I am having severe period pain. Like I said, I have to pick my battles. I agree 2 or 8 shots of something and hoping for sleep! Next time.
  12. I can't have citric acid at all. Soda like Sierra Mist kills me. I have to avoid it in all forms. I have the same symptoms as you when I consume it. It feels just like a glutening. Tomato paste and sauce have citric acid and like Skylark said, most processed foods. Watch juices too. Every single juice in a bottle is full of citric acid. Synthetic vitamin...

I agree! Especially since last night I was up at 3AM with ice packs and my hairdryer on cool. Ice..hair dryer..repeat....I writhed in pain for 2 days with period cramps broke down and took Aleve and the armpits are worse than ever. Period cramps..gone...dh severe. I guess we have to pick our battles.
  14. I can't stand any of them. I use a romaine lettuce leaf. No smell there. lol.

Thanks for the tips! So far Vanicream has been the best thing. I have also found that sleeping in something sleeveless like a tanktop helps.
  16. Is there a complete list somewhere. I looked at the list above but read that coconut was very high and coconut wasn't on that list. I have looked all over the internet and can't find one.
  17. I'm not sure on those but the less chemicals the better. Why not Dove unscented sensitive skin bar soap.
  18. Here is the short of it all : (It's talking about the intestines and a food allergen) In an attempt to protect itself from these irritating substances, the body secretes mucus. This intestinal coating of mucus reduces the absorption of allergic substances, protecting the person with hidden allergies from experiencing obvious allergic reactions. As...
  19. I found something that explains why we get mucus after gluten exposure. Open Original Shared Link
  20. Glad that you are feeling better! Remember that it can take 3 days for a reaction to happen. If it happens again, I would remove those foods again. I know that it's nice to have cake and things but most of us feel better when we are only eating whole foods that we make ourselves.

I have the same. It's like it grows and grows. It's like storm clouds billowing up. Mine happens at night too. It's really bad in the morning. I am really trying to watch the sals. I have been using an all natural crystal deodorant. I have tried Dove unscented. It made it worse for me. I think it has sweet almond oil and I can't have that..or something...

Well I thought that it was getting better. Went to bed last night and woke up with it all back again. I haven't worn deodorant in 3 days and today it's suppose to be 90! I thought it was bad when I had knee DH..this armpit stuff is a million times worse.
